Has anyone else noticed that the fewers are always top story on BBC Bristol news(website).Even when they lose and we win they are always top story.
It's because of their millions of fans clicking onto the links and making it top news.

I'm in Manchester next week for a few days and one of the lads up there is a big Bolton fan. I'm thinking of going on Tuesday (home stands obviously) just to see how truly shite they are, as I've nothing better to do.
Wass reckon? Shall I? Would I be forgiven?

Go decked in red, city shirt the lot. You'll probably match the away attendance.

Indeed. Can't really classify a tent zip as a door can you?
Will the last person out please close the flap?

Any of you stat guys know what the ratio of managers is between us and them? As far as I can remember they seem to have had to replace their manager every year - 18 months or so.
Dopey Darrell was probably one of their longest serving ones in recent times wasn't he?

Just watching the Quest rerun. Did Skeletor pretty much say (without actually saying) that he wanted the job?
Wouldn't surprise me. Stock has dropped since his last decent run in the Championship, and would imagine he would take any managerial job right now.
That being said, weren't the loyal and few upset because he said he would prefer QPR to beat them?
Also not sure that Hollowhead would take the crap that Wally would serve up. He certainly wouldn't keep quiet. Be good entertainment though, one final attaction at the circus....

What a joke, every misplaced pass, shot wide, or goal conceded (goalkeeper), that lot would be on their backs and never forgive them.
There really is no reason for us to loan anyone to them. As stated previously, facilities, atmosphere, style (or lack there) of play, there are no redeeming features about them. The only convenience would be that they are just down the road.
They're the ones that threw the toys out of the pram with the Taylor deal, despite including the clause in his contract which we met.
The very nice man that is in charge over there, would have to do a lot of grovelling for anything to happen between the two clubs. That aint likely to happen.

What's the consensus on Asschat about Hamer and them "parting ways"?

Am I correct that McCoulsky is currently on loan at Bromley? This tweet from September suggests he is but I can't see it confirmed anywhere.
Yes he is, on loan from Forest Green after signing for them in January on a 2 and a half year deal.
Come on Shawn.....

Yes he is. There is not one club in this league who I would say were worse off than Rovers - even when Bolton were in this league and imploding they still looked a better outfit than Rovers.
Deluded as ever.

Need to keep themselves relevant for something don't they....

I think I've just accidentally stumbled on a formula for the Gashead attendance figures..
Gashead 1 will go to the match (if that's what they call it), and will take his mum, sister, aunt, granny, brother, dad, uncle and grandad - this is why they call themselves the family club.
So, Gashead 1 counts everyone above, and takes a total 8 people with him. That's 9 people in total. Bear with me...
Now as we all know, their sister is their mother etc etc, so in reality he's taking 2 people with him. Multiply that by 4, you get 8.
Let's pretend their average attendance is 10,000 (again bear with me, I know I'm exaggerating), multiply that by 4, and you get 40,000. That's their Wembley attendance - unless they've added a few thousand more to it by now.....
Amazing what you think of whilst sat on the loo

It's worth noting. After going through the entire 1980's being at the receiving end of a lot of Rovers gloating is precisely why I hold my tongue - things can change, no matter how unlikely. I like a bit of banter, and taking the p!ss a little bit, but I don't gloat. There have been reversals in the past. Fortunes are like a sine wave, with ups and downs through time. We're on top at present, well on top. But gloating is as sure a way as any to tempt fate! I like reading this thread and having a daily chuckle, but I'm well reminded that things CAN change. Sorry to be a damp squib.
Look at Manchester - Utd dominated the EPL for years, whilst City were the "Rovers" of the two, and actually replaced us in Div 2 when we went up behind Watford.
20 years or so later, City are the ones dominating whilst Utd are playing for a mid table - 6th place finish if their lucky.
I agree, times can change very quickly in football, although they are consistency delusional over in Eastville.

They actually should be told that all the fee(s) should be paid in full, otherwise they face a fine bigger than the proposed fee(s).
Least that way Nantes and the family would get what they were owed whilst Cardiff were still punished for trying to avoid paying for a player that was essentially theirs.

Ah yes, just because you're stupid enough to have a blue away kit when your home kit is predominantly blue, the home team should definitely wear their away kit...

Surely they can just wear their yellow away kit?Better yet, they can wear Wimbledons away kit, and be charged for the privilege.
Stupid asses.

So basically they're still crying about finishing behind Derby last season, when actually results wise, Derby were the better team anyway.
Yes there's something dodgy about the Pride Park deal and their chairman, but get over it, and stop crying.
Not quite sure where the Sky deal comes into it. Nowhere in the article does it mention about Sky....
