A larger stadium than we needed has helped City double its season ticket holders in a generation. I believe at one time only Nottingham Forest had a higher proportion of under 16 season ticket holders than us. It's paid dividends. Ive no doubt that's exactly the sort of activity Rovers would engage in too.

Just saw we took 1300 in our promotion year, so maybe not so great after all.

Not just that, I can't understand the logic in assuming a new ground 10 mins drive from the old ground would make much difference in appealing to a whole new group of people.
