Just put the Glamorgan stream on as it looks like it'll be a tight finish and I can see why people were complaining about it during the Somerset game the other night. Jerking and stuttering to the point of being unwatchable.
It clashes directly with the Headingley test so Buttler won't be available. I'd hope Livingstone, Mahmood and Parkinson will be but who knows with the ECB.
We're similar to Somerset and a few of the other teams in that when we're good we can beat anyone and vice versa when we're bad.
Yorks v Sussex - Tue 24th Aug
Notts v Hants - Wed 25th
Somerset v Lancs - Thu 26th
Kent v Birmingham - Fri 27th
All games are evening starts, live on Sky. Yorkshire's game is at Chester-le-Street as Headingley is hosting the Test match at the same time.
It's the same scenario as him. ECB pet project because they play for a big club. Jake Ball is another.
Curran doesn't offer anything that his brother, Woakes, Willey, Gregory, Overton etc aren't already better at than him.
This afternoon's game is live on BBC as well as Sky.
Headingley hasn't had rain for 6 whole days now so if we're lucky we should just about have time for a 5pm start and 5 overs per side game....
Yeah, both already qualified and this is purely about how many points they take through. Lancs won the first game so Yorkshire could do with winning this.
Meanwhile in the Roses match at Headingley, Yorkshire won the toss and, very possibly spooked by the presence of Jimmy in the Lancs side, decided to bowl first.
Close of play score: Lancs 273-2.
So the likes of Banton and Livingstone aren't playing for their counties because they're with the England squad, where they can't get a game.
Brilliant stuff. What a thoroughly constructive use of their time....
