The fans are always behind them. It is the team and not the fans that need to step up
I was at West Brom, believe me there were a fair few that wernt. "youre not fit to wear the shirt" was clearly audible on a few occassions as a starter for ten.

If we go back to pre season. Most of us were in agreement . NP had a massive job ahead. He had to cut the wage bill , trim the squad & bring in a few players. He done that with very little money spent.
Was it his fault that the previous CEO, & Lansdown saw fit to let 12-13 contracts run down meaning there was no value in any of those players .
The squad has been in decline for over three years now , the style of football dreadful for all of that time.
Most of us agreed it wouldn’t be turned around easily & would probably get worse before it gets better. That where we are now. There are still 5 players in my opinion that need to go . However with the financial constraints , we can’t just get rid of them & spend millions on replacements. I don’t envy NP at all. It’s a thankless task at the moment.
most of us also said , staying up would be a achievement .
However , we have the usual suspects on here & the wider fanbase expecting more. We’re not going to get fast flowing exciting football with this squad. I posted before a ball as kicked , this season will be a grind.
Pearson can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear . The players just simply not good enough at the moment. This, However frustrating it is we have to hold our nerve - the team needs the fans behind them. full stop.

20 crosses 16 Goal attempts 9 on target- it will come! despite the scoreline seems like a better performance against a side at the top of the league no need to fear the worst yet.
Only one stat counts though. We got 0 and let in three - simple as!
