Used the Portway P&R since it was opened - very efficient service - would advise to use that as takes all pressure away

I haven't listened to the interview nor read this thread. However I remember him saying that Ashton did a great job. Has he ever said anything positive about Nige?
Possibly explains a lot.

Sad news. RIP Chris
Thanks for one of my fondest memories, heading in, on his knees, from 6 inches in the Gloucester cup at the Gate.

The thing is for the first time in years it feels like we have adults in charge - the mess they inherited they are slowly sorting and providing we stay in the division then next season will be the first time we can judge Pearson on performances as it would be largely his squad. If we accept that this squad is not capable of any consistency then we cannot complain if performances are inconsisitent can we?
Reading, Birmingham, Stoke were all desperately poor performances, Sheff Utd, Watford & Millwall were all much better. Its the nature of the squad.
We have to stick in my opinion but accepting that there will be some rubbish on the way.

My memory of Clive was attending the Terry Cooper soccer school and how him and TC were in attendance and around the place as we were on the course, He was a gentleman and a massive part of where we are as a club right now. RIP

Hi we have 1 adult ticket available for tomorrow - face value £31 but will need to be meet and pick up before game - let me know if you are interested?

Unfortunately that article is spot on. Wells and Palmers future with us is surely key? If we can move them on then maybe only need to sell one of the three youngsters. If not then maybe all three will have to be sacrificed.

Can someone explain how I’m doing a VPN? Never done one for fear of viruses and knowing if I’m using a good one. Also preferably not pay for one but that’s probably where you get the issues
Use opera browser. Has a free vpn built in. No cost

I see why you & others would be angered and annoyed by TR’s comment and whilst it certainly isn’t the point of the thread and I don’t think this should be derailed to discuss policing, that whole saga - the whole case, the vigil and the handling of everything around it in the following days - did cause a significant loss of trust of the police and especially the MET amongst women in general. Whether it affected Harriet Robson we will never know and it’s not really our business, just wanted to point out that whilst it was probably inflammatorily phrased it’s not the most moronic comment…
Anyway respond/quote me etc if you like but I won’t reply because like I said I wouldn’t want to derail the whole thing but I did think it was unfair that some folks didn’t seem to be able to get where that post was (maybe/probably) coming from.
This. And agreed let's not derail the thread.

An ´interesting’ view.
To take it a bit further, a serving Police Officer was convicted recently of kidnapping, raping and murdering a young lady.
Would you warn young ladies in fear of being sexually assaulted not to approach a Policeman in case the same thing happens to them?
No, but the point I was making was that you can understand why she shared on social media as opposed to reporting it.
-
Why would she want to report to the police. You know the police that bust heads at a vigil by women for a woman murdered by a serving policeman. Those police?
