We were so prowed when these ladies decided to take a stand. https://www.hergametoo.co.uk/bristolrovers But how strong is their resolve ?

Deft work by Wilson and his agent. How easily Rovers supporters fell for the story that a transfer virtually announced two weeks ago was held up because of the players’ holiday in Ibiza. And how easily Mr Al-Quidi and Mr Gorringe were duped into believing they must accede to Wilson’s demands because Wycombe Wanderers were waiting in the wings. Mr Barton and Mr Jennings weren’t duped but it’s not their money.

This is great news Peter. When does it start ?

Herbert Gillam has been on the line with bad news for Rovers fans. It appears Bristol City Council will not entertain the requested capacity increase at the Memorial Stadium.

Rovers in a nutshell. "What's the definition of luxury? If the south stand has a concourse that's out of the elements then that's pretty standard for a modern ground. Oxford, Derby all the same really. Coventry, just more space. MK Dons, just bigger concourse and a good view. A temporary stand that does the same as those listed, I'll take that"

Subterranean homesick blues ?

Do you think they've considered how, many years ago, the raised level platform which forms the Memorial Ground was created ? Is the terra firma sub-structure suitable for the load bearing pillars needed if an "Atyeo" sized grandstand is to be constructed ?

Mr Barton's mouth is always open. -
The claimed capacity of the new structure is triple that of the existing tent. And from the drawing it looks as though it will be the same height as the West Stand which would mean a doubling of the current elevation.
