  1. With O'Dowda out of favour, Freeman injured and Paterson on the bench we do look very short of width. Hopefully a midfield including Tomlin and Reid will make up for it with their creativity. Wilbs first league start of the season, too.
  2. Having just watched the goals Taylor blatantly trips the guy marking him off the ball and so is left alone to score the second and looks to be well offside when he scores the third. What with a staggering combination of regular opposition red cards and penalty awards they do seem to have a lot of "luck". Perhaps that is why Wael doesn't spend any money on players?
  3. Condolences to the OP. Be good to get a decent result tonight but the first post just reminds us all it really isn't that important.
  4. Didn't Stoke get stopped from doing it when they had Delap? Need Wilbs on, Bamba is bullying Tammy.
  5. Against a Warnock side I'd say it was a certainty. Expect Wilbs to be on at some point to give him a bit of physical protection...
  6. As they struggle to fill their poxy little ground I don't expect they will be banning any of their ******** any time soon..
  7. One league win this season without the aid of a penalty or red card. If luck evens itself out they won't win again until February.
  8. With 3 penalties in 4 games they must think their luck will last for ever..
  9. Still, at least we're not bumping around near the bottom of the lower division year on year with absolutely no sign of getting out of it, eh?
  10. Would love to see Trego captain the side, we then need an overseas batter at 3..
  11. Somerset should be very proud, another brilliant season, another group of excellent, local (well, largely Devon) youngsters discovered. Just need Middlesex to show some backbone against those arrogant tykes..
  12. Their best defender (Shackell) is out, so Alex Pearce who was on loan to us last season plays, but so is our best midfielder... As the OP says we have a very poor record against them, whilst their form so far has been simply awful. Despite the BBC website's negative spin on our current form, "1 win in 5 league games", why stop there? (3 wins in 7 is equally valid), on paper we should win, though I can't believe that Derby are going to struggle this badly for much longer. Team selection will be very interesting, I can't ever remember a time when we signed 4 new players and by a couple of games later not one of them had started a single game for us.. Wouldn't be too shocked by a 1-1 draw.
  13. Well, if someone could score a penalty we would then have been 3-1 up with half an hour to play against ten men and O'Neil wouldn't have been sent off..
  14. I have no idea who she is, but did you see any of the "gas girls" that were interviewed when they did that Wael thing on the BBC? If not there is your answer..
  15. Came on for his debut as a sub, actually.. As for "Inside Out" I'm sure it will be yet another fawning piece of crap about Wael that doesn't ask him any difficult questions. Here's a couple: Seeing as you are a "billionaire" Why haven't you spent a single penny on transfer fees this summer? How do you plan to satisfy the conditions for a level 2 Academy inside six months? Apparently he was co-commentator on Radio Bristol for their draw with bottom of the table Rochdale on Saturday, how much more up his arse can the local media be?
  16. 11,300 "crowd". Which should put all that "Bristol is really a rugby city" bollocks firmly to bed for good. Imagine if that was the attendance for our first home game in the Prem..
  17. Course it was. Strange your forum says that your "fans" were slagging off your new goalie Roos as well, bet that abuse was meant for the ref too, eh?
  18. **** me, there are some seriously strong drugs available in South Glos..
  19. Create a myth? 1) apparently have the "best fans in the world" 2) apparently "have a billionaire owner" 3) claim to have taken more fans to Wembley than they actually (even Wael says this). 4) "loyal and true" just like their last Eastville crowd..
  20. And of course Radio Bristol will report it completely uncritically, the same as the local media all do when they never question this "billionaire" horseshit. Oh look, Andy Howard of Radio Bristol has now done just that, retweeting it without any comment at all on the almost impossibility of achieving the criterion that are required..
