People saying this will 'easily sell out' unless they announce a streets or the like type act I can't see it getting anywhere near a sell out
myself and my group of mates are mid 30s and these guys were the peak off us growing up, clubbing etc and not one of us plans on going at this time so I'm not quite sure who the target market is at this time
be interesting how it progresses

If it's the streets headlining and £40 a ticket that suddenly ain't half bad

As a miserable git, that bit put me off!
I get that, and I'm actually the same
was easy to dip in and out to be fair and you certainly could just stay in your couple/group if you wished

Think season ticket holders maybe aren't aware how extortionate pay on the day prices are
it wouldn't surprise me the numbers mentioned on how many members we have, as mentioned you only need to go 3/4 times per season to get money back plus other perks of membership

The one in Pasture, have you experienced it? Different menu? Different wines? Or is it basically just a private room?
It's called Radius , a separate room seated round a bar for between 8/10 people, we went as a couple and it's very sociable
went a few weeks ago, and as far as value for money (don't get me wrong it's still not the cheapest) against other tasting menus this was right up there
I said further up my only complaint was there was too much food, but the whole concept, service and food was top draw

I've lost faith in him a bit tbh. The last casamia as you say was a bit of a disaster. I've been Paco a few times now and there's better tapas restaurants in Bristol.
The thing I hear repeated about his last few places including Decimo in London is "style over substance" and I'd agree with that.
Hate to say it but since his brother passed away he's obviously taken a different direction, and the results aren't as successful imo.
Heard the same about Decimo , very rarely hear paco mentioned by anyone to be honest
just had to google it to check if Casa was still going as again don't hear anyone mention that either anymore

What do people reckon - will this make general sale - if so how quickly will it sell out ?
Will certainly make members , depends how many of them we've got to if it makes general
-
Out of interest what issues have people had?
as just mentioned above I can't even seem to access my account now, is this the same for everyone else?
apologies if going over old ground
-
I can't even log into my account at the minute....

Haven't been there for a few years but we have a work meal at Aqua on Welsh Back next week. Looking forward to it as have always had decent food there, going back over 20 plus years. Anyone been there recently?
Aqua for me is as solid as they come
Went there a few weeks ago for first time in a few years and was impressed

Peter Sanchez-Inglesias wants to reopen Casamia. Not necessarily in Bristol either…
What a disaster it was when he upped sticks and moved to London leaving things to that chef who seemingly revelled in getting bad reviews and being edgy
if it's unfinished business as he calls it surely has to re open in Bristol

Some big refunds will be due today... shocking service from start to finish yesterday
18.05 train home was about 5 coaches long instead of the usual 9, people literally everywhere on it
-
Now saying lines are flooded on this train
if you planned on getting train and aren't on it yet don't would be my advice
-
Just sat still at the min on the line not moving
chaos all day

Taunton must be in trouble if there players are jumping shit to go to Yate
although if they are Bristol based etc this time of year does take its toll

I ordered at 1000hrs on the day they came out - how is it that less than 48hrs to the game and I don't have the tickets yet? Surely they send them as they take the booking?
Would ring the club if you haven't already
we rang yesterday about a ticket which hadn't been sent and was sat waiting for collection (fair play to the club they were really professional in dealing with it)

This may have changed now? No mention of the line being an exception on the TFL website...
It literally says this on that link
No other TfL services will be on strike but some bus, DLR, London Overground and Elizabeth line services will be busier and affected by station closures where stations also serve London Underground lines. One-way or queueing systems may also be in place.
