  1. A tiny minority 'need' a physical card, a much larger number 'want' one, big difference.
  2. That's crazy, hence the reason why they will charge next season...
  3. Heard great things about him. Whats the best comparison to a first team player? Strengths?
  4. How many of our under 23s were playing pitch for Swindon at one time then?! 3/4?
  5. Was a decent listen, lots of off topic/non city stuff like usual but good to hear us discussed!
  6. Hopefully be enough to fix the Dolman tannoy
  7. Araoye looks a unit! Not seen much of him before, lets hope he is more of a Lloyd Kelly and less Joe Low...
  8. All aboard HMS Piss the League
  9. He was in the last videos online, meeting Knight and the training ones
  10. Poundland Talksport. Not even trying to be informative or generate decent conversation, just sensationalist clickbait.
  11. I always thought Mehmeti played wide and cut inside even at Wycombe.... @Davefevswhats the tool you have that shows players most played positions?!
  12. No you don't need to add a card or bank account. If you only use it for the season ticket it'll be the only thing appearing in your wallet.
  13. Where have I said that? I haven't upgraded my Samsung phone since 2018... You can still request a physical card if you don't have a smartphone...
  14. I would say the vast majority of people attending will have a compatible smartphone or be with someone who does (if kids tickets). Unfortunately whether you like it/agree with it most clubs are now going digital. For me and a lot of other people its safer and more convenient. There will always be a minority who cant use it and they will have to accommodate those with physical cards but i wouldn't say the club are acting 'stupidly' just moving with the times, like when it went from paper tickets to a plastic card...
  15. See my post above... "NFC, which is short for near-field communication, is a technology that allows devices like phones and smartwatches to exchange small bits of data with other devices and read NFC-equipped cards over relatively short distances." if you use Google Wallet/Pay or Apple Pay they will prompt you to turn it on before use. If not it can be turned on/off via settings. Give me a shout if any issues
  16. Yes entry level phone so no NFC, have to be a physical card then but your statement that most Android phones do not have NFC is incorrect...
  17. No problem, happy to help!
  18. NFC, which is short for near-field communication, is a technology that allows devices like phones and smartwatches to exchange small bits of data with other devices and read NFC-equipped cards over relatively short distances.
  19. Almost all modern Android devices have NFC...? ("Android 10 and iOS 13 were released in 2019, and both can run on most smartphones going back to at least 2017. That means that nearly any phone made in the last six years should be able to offer full NFC support") Which Android version or phone are you talking about?!
