  1. https://wallet.google/intl/en_uk/ Have a read - basically a digital wallet that holds payment cards, loyalty cards, concert tickets and now season tickets... you just enable NFC, and use your phone contactless to pay or access places like you would with a card
  2. Full details will follow, they will have to have a Bristol Sport account for you to forward it on. Might be the option of a print at home ticket/PDF as well as digital.
  3. Expect an extra cost for these next season though... most clubs that do digital tickets charge around a £10 for a physical card
  4. For iPhones, go to your Apple Wallet and onto the season pass. In the corner, there will be a circle with three dots, click this and on the next page make sure "Automatic Updates" is enabled, then pull down on the page to refresh/update the pass:
  5. In Google Wallet, click the 3 lines in the corner, and go to Settings. Towards the bottom enable "Updates about your passes":
  6. You only add it once, its there for the season now.
  7. It's not really a squeeze, the scanner is on the top at the front. One person can stand there and scan the tickets through without causing a queue. It's not like the old style turnstiles!
  8. Like @ralphindevonsaid above it makes it much easier now to transfer the tickets online rather than having to hand over and then collect a physical ticket... anyway just a thought!
  9. Why can't you just add them onto yours? Pretty straightforward, same as adding all your families boarding passes on one phone, just flick to the next one and go through

  11. what does this mean for us non financial folk?
  12. I think what will happen next season if the demand is too high is doing what other clubs seem to be doing and charging an extra £10 if they want a physical season card.
  13. From reading posts on here and on social media there's going to be a lot of people requesting a physical one purely because they don't like change rather than not having a smartphone etc
  14. http://hammersunited.com/our-guide-to-nfc-season-tickets-2/ https://www.oufc.co.uk/news/2022/june/digital-season-tickets/ https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/tickets/digital-ticket-download-guide-and-faqs Loads of guides online from other clubs and step by step guides on how to add it to your Apple or Google wallet...
  15. For all the numerous people moaning on social media!
  16. Good luck! It should be fairly simple, but feel free to ask if any issues! I use it for all my supermarket loyalty cards and gig tickets.
  17. Can you not just download Google wallet if you have an Android phone? Pretty handy app

  20. https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/37583230/how-rory-delap-long-throw-ins-ruffled-arsene-wenger-parka-showed-us-all-their-importance "According to Stats Perform data, Delap directly assisted on five Premier League goals from throw-ins, and Stoke City as a whole have scored 24 goals from those situations. Since 2008-09, no other player has more than two direct throw-in assists, and no other club has scored more than 12 goals from throw-ins. In other words, Delap and Stoke were at least twice as effective at this aspect of the game when compared to any of their competitors. Taylor charted all of Delap's throw-ins in his first four seasons with the club, and he found that Stoke scored 25 league goals from throws taken by the Irishman (even if they weren't considered direct assists). In the 2007-08 season in the Championship, a then-31-year-old Delap's throws led to goals eight times -- six of which came while the game was tied. According to Taylor's study, Delap's throws added about six points to Stoke's total, which ended up being the difference between automatic promotion and a spot in the playoffs."
  21. Didn't work out too badly for Stoke though...
  22. What train we on for Al-Ittihad away?
