I was sort of saying we played well compared to recent performances. We are so accustomed to the football being drab that an average game is upgraded free of charge to a played well game. I know we have been crap I was just trying to make the point of whatever type of performance we get results stay the same!!

Blackburn we were terrible and we lost. Sheff Wed was bang average and we lost. Tonight we played well and we lost. All that is left is to batter Cardiff with 20 shots on target and to lose 1-0 and we will have rounded out the how to lose a football match in every which way. Personally believe that no matter what type of performance LJ gets from the players the results remain the same. When it gets like that then I think a change is in order. The most compelling thing for me over the last 3 games is that the opposition GK always seems to have an easy night, regardless of our performance. That to me suggests that the manager isn't setting the team up right to win football matches.

And there it is. Better team by a mile, need to keep our heads up now!!

Good half lads, can't fault anyone for that 45. Keep up the performance and maybe win this 1-0.

Yea night and day as to how much better we have been. Hopefully get the first goal, as them scoring first would really knock the stuffing out of us I fear.

Disappointing seeing we basically started the game with a goal start and played the last 15 against 10. Game gave us all the opportunity to take 3 points but we ended with 0. We really need another striker getting in to Reid's goal scoring positions. Tammy got into those position last season and as a striker put it away more often than not. Reid ( and I am not knocking him) doesn't seem to have that killer instinct because it seems he is being shoehorned into being a striker rather than his natural position. Anyway on to Tuesday, Brentford's defence seems leaky so should get some chances to make up points there hopefully.

I don't care what happens in the coming weeks with the manager but this will be a massive 3 points if we could take them.

We can only comment on what we are seeing mate. At the moment we started well but are 2 down after 20 mins verses a side that bangs in goals for fun and are unbeaten in 42 when leading.....what exactly are we supposed to be saying??

If you watch the replay from behind Sidwell angle, you will see that ROD has no idea where he is in relation to his own goal. When the shot is taken( not a fluke) he takes a second or two to react and realises he can't make it back. Goalkeeper error imo.

42 unbeaten with a goal head start. Pity because we had started the game really well!!

Really, they have done nothing and still managed 2 goals. We have done nothing and scored once. On that basis IMO we dont deserve a point.

If fielding had not tried the stupid acrobatics, he could have plucked that second ball straight out of the air!!

On the plus side I doubt we will ever have that many bad decisions made by players in 1 half ever again. The penalty miss, o neil mistimed tackle, rod dropping a clanger and some more schoolboy defending and game management with 30 seconds of the match left. That's a lot of bad things to all happen in 45 minutes of football and we got punished for every mistake.

If we lose Tammy for any period of time, this defence is going to get us in to a lot of trouble. Let's hope we have not put all our eggs in 1 basket up front this season (or untill January at least).
