That's not right, the guy challenging for the ball was the guy they gave offside for so he was involved. He made the defender head the ball.

Southgate is the only person in England who though that the slow passing between the 2 centre half's was a positive thing. Maguire was our best player in terms of doing his job tonight but we wasted so much time with an extra 5 passes between him and Stones.

Watford haven't turned up today. 

Happy that we are keeping a clean sheet with a scratch defence yes. Happy that we have bossed the game in 3/4 of the pitch yes. Our position in the league obviously not but it's hard to criticise today given we are playing a side sat in play off place and are more than comfortable.

Even though I agree with you I would say it's because NP needs to see what else he has in the squad that is up to scratch. So many players may or may not be able to perform at this level and without giving them any meaningful game time he would never know.

Conclusion: I genuinely think this makes City fans of my generation amongst the most long suffering in the country. Just perpetual underachievement and disappointment for my entire life. And I’m really starting to wonder if it’ll ever be worth it.

Yep I am 42 mate and my birthday will always be linked with us losing to hull in our 1 chance of me seeing us in the top flight. That is how much faith I have in us ever being successful at this level. I could live until 100 and I would not be confident of seeing City in the top flight.

My god, someone has hacked the stream with a replay of a Sunday morning game. As the ball is played in they manage to have about 5 attackers goal side of our defenders, that's embarrassing tbh. School boy stuff.

I mean tonight is a failed experiment. No excuse it's embarrassing and should not be happening. Best we can do now is protect any first team players carrying knocks etc and worry about Watford. I would have liked us to show something tonight and give NP a few options but it looks like outside the main 15-16 players nobody else is ready for League 1 let alone Championship.
