Should Tomlin be taking corners?
-
Our away form looks poor right now. Looking at the table so far, we win or lose far more than draw. Could be an interesting game.
-
Is Engvall still not up to speed? You'd hope that he would be getting the nod over Wilbraham if he's fit.

In other news, Chelsea are looking scarily good against Everton.

Because little has been like this for the last 3 years, joes having an off game
3 years is incorrect really, he was great in the promotion season, then he got the injury.

I'll repeat what I said last week and say that I'd like to see Engvall get a chance.

That nonsense with Knockaert's shirt is the most mawkish thing I've seen on a football pitch.
What happened?

Even forgetting about defence, our attack is based on us having a top young striker, who nevertheless still relies on great service. The main supplier is/should be Tomlin, who has brilliance but doesn't run the game every time. If we don't have our main goalscoring midfielders in the team or on song, then the pressure is all on Tammy and Tomlin.

If you are right then this is a position we should be looking at in January
How on earth did we ever let Heaton go!
BECAUSE WE GOT RELEGATED TO LEAGUE ONE

Sorry, folks, would prefer Lucic to either
How much have you seen of him, out of interest? One League Cup game, or have you seen the friendlies?

Clappy Clappy everyone's happy. Ignore the negatives and focus on the positives. A point away we'll take that all day. No-one played bad it was all good and all the decisions were great. Woo hop
How did you get to hear Johnson's interview before anyone else?

The self-belief in this team to keep coming back and getting a result must be brilliant. Feel one game between now and Christmas we might get 90 minutes where it clicks instead of 45 and give someone a drubbing. COYR

Referee knocked out at the Plymouth match. Was so convinced he'd collided with Garita.

Because Moore is the future and is a leader on the pitch.
Because the old stagers need a kick up the proverbial at half time
Moreover I would bring Engvall on straight away and take Tomlin off for disciplinary reasons
In other words I want to see strong management today. Of course Lee may have other ideas, such as hairbrush treatment over the half time oranges. As long as he acts I am happy
Strong management doesn't always mean change change change. I think Moore on for Flint now would be a reckless and needless decision.
Give Tomlin 15 minutes to prove himself technically and temperamentally. Then Engvall and O Dowda on.

I wouldn't be surprised if Engvall came on soon, after his performance on Tuesday.

Who gave the penalty away?

Bryan and Magnusson have slowly regressed these past 4-5 games.
Really? I've not seen many of the recent games, but Magnusson still looked assured to me in the Cardiff match, one mistimed hoof aside.

It's the Championship. I never expect to win a game in the Championship, no matter who the opponent is.
Sounds like Tammy needs a rest, and Engvall needs to get fit. And a right back who can track his runner. So what we knew already, really.
I wouldn't automatically rush to 4-4-2, watching the Cardiff match it wasn't the formation that was the trouble, it was that we were trying to play everything through the middle, and the wide attacking midfielders didn't utilise the wings.

Pretty scary that we're (possibly) so reliant on a teenager.
I'm very sure LJ has been working hard on plan B, especially as Tammy's had a couple of knocks in the first few games.
