Well now Cardiff and Warnock will go ultra defensive. Can see this ending 1-1. 

One goal. All it needed was one goal. Now he's on fire.

Both sides slightly below par, but we haven't been shocking. Their form of defence and attack is just crowding. We've been generally strong in defence other than one freak deflection that led to a goalmouth scramble and another mêlée that resulted in a goal. Would like to see Leko come on, as the pace and pressing of O Dowda has been our biggest threat and Paterson is quiet.

I am very confident LJ would not have signed him if he "will never be able to defend".

Nope. Down to his lack of strength and struggling with defensive duties. Away from home against a team with attacking strength, would not go well if he played.

I don't normally blame refs too much, but he's one of those ones that won't let a game get going.

But that's the nature of how we play - we create a ton of chances.

If we converted them all we'd be winning every game 10-1.

We can always improve though.

The Ipswich fans hated Flint. 

Honestly I saw very little to be impressed by Ipswich today. I can barely remember any real chances, besides the goal which was very well taken. I think Fielding commanded his area very well today, Flint, Baker and Wright were no-nonsense, and Bryan had a typically influential game.

Korey Smith had a really good game too, and Diedhiou's still getting better with each appearance. No weak links I can really think of, like I said their goal was good, and pretty out of the blue.

I was worried after the first half that we'd be easy to cut through in the second, but we solidified. I really do think Johnson is managing games a lot better now.

Apart from a returning Pisano, and eventually Eliasson when he's ready, this is my ideal 11.

Jerome never fails to do well against us. Will be interesting to see how our back 3 deal with him.

Today will be tough. Very tough.

It's not just the scoreline, but the players who scored/seemingly impressed that makes this such a good feeling.

Couldn't be happier for Woodrow and Diedhiou. Also Leko having a good game, Reid scoring again, Paterson proving doubters wrong (eventually). 

We aren't going to win every game. In large part, however, we appear to have improved our solidity in defence and vastly expanded our attacking options. Our formation may lead us vulnerable on occasions, but on the whole we seem to be able to cope with that. Great win.
