Don't know why Pack was took off, need him still in there to slow the game down.
He was very close to being sent off.

Well now Cardiff and Warnock will go ultra defensive. Can see this ending 1-1.

One goal. All it needed was one goal. Now he's on fire.

Both sides slightly below par, but we haven't been shocking. Their form of defence and attack is just crowding. We've been generally strong in defence other than one freak deflection that led to a goalmouth scramble and another mêlée that resulted in a goal. Would like to see Leko come on, as the pace and pressing of O Dowda has been our biggest threat and Paterson is quiet.

It's common knowledge that Eliasson can not defend and that he will never be able to defend. Like Saborio he should have signed for a footballing side. Another club kept in the bag is not to much help.
I am very confident LJ would not have signed him if he "will never be able to defend".

Eliasson not even on the bench is down to the English "understanding" of the game. Nothing else.
Nope. Down to his lack of strength and struggling with defensive duties. Away from home against a team with attacking strength, would not go well if he played.

I don't normally blame refs too much, but he's one of those ones that won't let a game get going.

Saw every second of the game, got lucky...twice, but had more chances and should have buried them; we ARE going well but we were till end Oct last year;
But that's the nature of how we play - we create a ton of chances.
If we converted them all we'd be winning every game 10-1.
We can always improve though.

They are in a false position and will crash down midtable, maybe lower.
The stat that shows them scoring virtually every shot they have is telling.

The Ipswich fans hated Flint.
Honestly I saw very little to be impressed by Ipswich today. I can barely remember any real chances, besides the goal which was very well taken. I think Fielding commanded his area very well today, Flint, Baker and Wright were no-nonsense, and Bryan had a typically influential game.
Korey Smith had a really good game too, and Diedhiou's still getting better with each appearance. No weak links I can really think of, like I said their goal was good, and pretty out of the blue.
I was worried after the first half that we'd be easy to cut through in the second, but we solidified. I really do think Johnson is managing games a lot better now.

But that was League 1.
Yes...

Do we now have two players in the top 10 Championship scorers chart? Feel like Lita and Brooker was the last time we had that.

Great header after great buildup play by Smith, Paterson and Reid.

BBC reporter says we're more alert to chances we're creating than Ipswich; also corrects himself twice when just calling us Bristol, in fairness.

Josh has a new one.

COYR! Lay into them while they're down.

Apart from a returning Pisano, and eventually Eliasson when he's ready, this is my ideal 11.

Jerome never fails to do well against us. Will be interesting to see how our back 3 deal with him.

Today will be tough. Very tough.

It's not just the scoreline, but the players who scored/seemingly impressed that makes this such a good feeling.
Couldn't be happier for Woodrow and Diedhiou. Also Leko having a good game, Reid scoring again, Paterson proving doubters wrong (eventually).
We aren't going to win every game. In large part, however, we appear to have improved our solidity in defence and vastly expanded our attacking options. Our formation may lead us vulnerable on occasions, but on the whole we seem to be able to cope with that. Great win.

Tomlin on, so we're playing against 9 men now.
