The problem isn't him as an individual, it's that we've often had two Pack-like midfielders in the middle, making the sideways passing more of an issue. I always thought Korey was a good foil for him, but the injury had an impact.

I don't know what I'd retrospectively like more - a clean sheet (probably), or conceding one and managing to hold on until the end. Both seem inconceivable, both would be important.

Well, maybe. The other way to look at it is that our current 11 isn't strong enough to beat teams with our own tactics. Therefore, we're playing reactionary football. Unfortunately, it means that form is often ignored.
