  1. They were very impressive in attack against Burnley, Yates, Lavery, Bowler being a lively front 3. Bowler is being talked about as potentially Forest's 93rd (so it feels) signing of the summer. I'd be more than happy with a draw.
  2. Don't worry if you miss it, there'll be another one coming along soon enough I expect. Book now to avoid disappointment!
  3. They already have his replacement in Deniz Undav. Scored against Forest Green in the cup this week.
  4. In which case let's save time and declare him a failure now.?
  5. Given he was their player perhaps they might have ensured he got to Cardiff safely? The statement could indeed have been better. It essentially reads as "it's so unfair. Oh, and by the way we're sorry he's dead."
  6. What a nauseating response. Once a Bluebird always a Bluebird eh?
  7. How lucky we are that our managers have never had any interference from above.?
  8. That'll be the man who claims to have a controlling stake but only owns 41% of the shares with the rest held by the deeply unpopular Madrox group I take it.
  9. That may depend on whether the players signed were the ones he wanted perhaps.
  10. Is that the one who insisted they sign Defoe when LJ didn't want him? That went well.
  11. Fewers doesn't work either I assume because of your massive support.?
  12. Why would he leave the 6th richest club in the country with a new stadium due to open any day now, a club with a massive fan base that is about to overtake us on its way to the Premier League, to join a smaller club like Stoke?
  13. For the great majority of my decades following football nobody expected players to applaud the fans in the ritual way they do now. So it's a mystery to me why anybody would be bothered whether they do or not. And don't get me started on not celebrating a goal against a former team!
  14. Just gone on loan to Gillingham.
  15. I hope he realises that the critics are in the minority. The common factor among them seems to be a refusal or inability to see the context in which he has been and is operating. Given the disaster he inherited he is doing a remarkable job, especially in changing the culture. A difficult thing to do that takes time but you can't progress without it.
  16. Go ahead, I'll hold your coat. Though I might be holding it a considerable distance away.?
  17. Well, they have a bloated squad, the 7th highest wage bill in the Prem and they can't afford to sign players. Should suit him then.
  18. He's just brilliant at pressing. Such a key skill in the way Nigel wants to play.
  19. They would have switched the game to Wembley and taken 40,000.
  20. Indeed, though it predates that even with the Austria team of the 30s and Hungary in the 50s for example.
  21. Agreed, the term full back is almost becoming redundant. At the elite level there are many players labelled full backs who are something else altogether, and by no means all the same. Take Alexander-Arnold, Cancelo and James, no two the same and none of them orthodox. As to Jay, I actually think he is best when he comes inside and links with the midfield in which case suggesting he should start in midfield is unnecessary.
