When some people were saying we needed reinforcements earlier in the year, and were shot down for saying it. This is when we could have done with a plan B , an alternative to throw on in search of a goal. As it is we have to hope they can find a goal from nowhere.

Indeed. The chicken-counting on here has been frustrating me for a long time. Too many variables with 8 games remaining to be certain of. anything yet.
Yep , as it stands Preston could start tomorrow with 2 games in hand, and we could go there knowing if we lose they could go top.
It's a busy time and we all play each other, a lot of work to do but we could do with picking up points from the tough games.

He's not the answer
Depends what the question was.....

Easy to after time when you've gone 1-3 down.
On another day Agard bags the winner.
As soon as I saw the switch I was worried, we didn't need to push and a point would have been a good return today.
Can't moan too much as he always try's to win a game, as have been said good day to lose.

Ha , John Jo Otool day for the Cobblers at Mansfield today. 100 fans travelled with wigs and headbands.

Wilbs came on for Smith mate.
I think he means in the same game, not at the same time.

Started off site, improved to poor and finished ok.
Passing was way off in the beginning but signs that's we could take it to them second half.

Just a few miss placed passes and poor choices, get that right for the league games and we could be flying again.

watched the clearance over and over , arm raised but can't be sure so no way the ref can give it.
I though we were very good today , against a Prem side and FF had almost nothing to do..

I made 2 good decisions this weekend,
1) Not to lump on Chelsea to win after going a goal down yesterday 2) Not to go down today.
I need to choose games and glad this wasn't one of them.

11/1 on ,Telford to nick it......
11/1 on ? that is a big favorite
Mind you listening to them create chances sounds about right.

Great performance and well worth sneaking out of work 25 mins early

I went to help a friend recover an Astra (ok, not an Escort), and apart from the steering column damage the only thing the thief had done was throw away most of the empty fag packets that were littering the car!
I had a Mark III and IV Escort so no RWD for me. Great looking cars all.
A couple of years ago we had an old Metro as a second car and one morning the Mrs said she thought it had been broken into. Went to have a look and no damage , no mess and they had dropped some money when they were looking around for something to take

Had a1300 MK2 about '86 , really liked that car.
My soon to be wife and then later ex wife (I prefer the latter ) asked one morning as she dropped me at work " how will I know if I run out of petrol"
Then when free had an XR3i , went on a football club piss up and left it at the pub. Phone call early next morning saying it had be stolen , obviously a wind up I think and tell whoever it was to go away (I was very hungover). Thing is it was the Police and it had been nicked. Organised the insurance company to pick it up only to be told it had gone again ! There was just a scorch mark where it had been and I had to report it stolen again before I could claim .

Well today is my first game of the season. A loss will clearly be my fault.
That's agreed then all your fault, nothing to do with me
That said , a calm 2-0 I feel.

I feel I have to apologise in advance.
I have been able to make five Saturday home games, W5 D0 L0 F13 A5
I can't really make mid week games so missed.... 2.....W0 D2 L0 F2 A2 + defeat if you add the Oxford game.
Today I will be otherwise occupied and will miss a Saturday game.
I do feel a little responsible if we drop points but, with luck and with it being a whole new City maybe we'll win without me.
Today could be a good solid steady win , 2-0 and with Preston at Rochdale and Swindon at MK Franchise it could be a very good day.

City..............Preston
Oldham (H)....Rochdale (A)
Swindon (A)....Swindon (A)
Preston (H)....Bradford (H)
P'boro (A)....City (A)
.....................Yeovil (A)
Not sure what I'd want from next month , 6pts would be OK I think. For Preston , who are on a roll (7 wins on the spin ?) 9 maybe.
An interesting month on the cards.

BBC recognise a great fact;
In scoring against Barnsley, Luke Ayling became the 15th different player in Bristol City's squad to find the net this season - in only their 17th game in all competitions.

Typical negativity from some on here. Zzzzzzz
I don't think it's (necessarily) negativity . We've played , almost unchanged , all season in a high tempo pressing game. It makes sense to rotate the squad , I think Wilb's has looked tired in a couple of games late on and if we have the players why not use them. I'm not talking mass changes but why not give JET a start for Wilbs one week , then rest Elliot the next.
It's just to try and keep them going for as long as possible. I very much doubt we'd get through the season playing just 14 players.
The great thing is they keep going and no one will want a rest , We've not reached a third of the way into the season , there is a long way to go.
-
I really think we need to give a couple of players a rest, but well done City not a bad result against a good side.
