  1. Cheers, so the reality is actually very different to how I remember it (I blame the booze). I wonder if that was a rumour that just got out of hand or is just muddled in my memory.
  2. Didn’t we consider getting a bubble machine for when West Ham secured promotion and were visiting us for a game late in the season?
  3. We must be the only side in the country getting 22,000 fans in every other week yet not played in the Premier League
  4. Another stinker I had to misfortune to catch. 2-5 vs SO’D’s Doncaster and 0-6 vs Cardiff are other notable lowlights
  5. Agree with the comments that suggest Birmingham, today wasn’t even the worst this season. I’ve never seen a worse example of “getting the basic wrong” than that Birmingham game. Over/hit passes, short passes, mis-controlled passes going into touch (Sykes, who is probably our best player this year, did it three times, let alone the rest of the team).
  6. Did he say he was “******* bored” for the first 45 mins
  7. Let’s face it, the season is a write-off. Won’t go up, won’t go down. cup run is our best chance of some excitement, but we’ll probably get stuffed by WH
  8. They hit the bar/post in the 99th minute while 3-2 down, that’s a real shame
  9. 1 shot on target in 2 games is Holden-esque. In desperate need of new players in Jan, not convinced we’ll get them though.
  10. I got bag checked again at the Atyeo statue for the Sunderland game, they said oh but don’t worry you won’t be checked on the way in to the ground. Guess what…
  11. Another Scott goal given just offside seems to be taking to the PL
  12. One psychological trick we should employ is “forgetting” our own kit and having to wear the home side’s away kit, it will bamboozle the other team so much they’ll drop into the relegation zone in the last ten minutes of the season and get pumped out of the entire EFL system into non-league. It would be hilarious.
  13. That was a mental season, we scored 4 past both Palace and Cardiff in late August, after starting with a narrow defeat to Forest, yet by the end of the season we were no-hopers and very deserving of relegation.
  14. We hoped to summon the spirit of Noble and arrow one into the top corner in the last minute. Instead we had Cam Pring
  15. But also it better serves a push for the Play offs for us to take 3 points from a potential rival for a top 6 spot and only draw with relegation battlers rather than the other way around, even if no shots on target feels a bit frustrating
  16. no shots on target in the 88th minute is poor against a team in complete disarray, thought we had a chance of another decent win tonight
  17. I suspect part of their issue in the stands is that they’d normally expect to be winning by now!
  18. A Birmingham supporting mate is there and messaged me and said there are already arguments among the home fans and someone has stormed out, are they really that bad?! We have 73% possession according to the BBC!
  19. Easy to forget that they outplayed us for 90 minutes earlier in the season, one of the most one-sided 0-2 defeats I’ve seen us suffer at AG. They may be all at sea as a team but they still have quality individuals. Like you say, an away point would be decent.
