If you think Manning is close to getting the sack then you are going to be disappointed!
I can’t see how he can get the fans back on side, the sea of red seats you see today are unsustainable in the medium term.
I don’t think he’s close to the sack but this should start to sow the seeds of doubt in the minds of SL etc.

You do get the feeling that this might be a definitive performance (even if we manage to fluke a 1-0 win), perhaps the beginning of the end.

Promising attack, overhit cross by Cornick. Off he goes. Particularly poor today.

I've got about 20 empty seats around me.
You may find that many more don’t come back from the concourse for the second half !

Boos all around the ground as the HT whistle goes. We didn’t even have a shot off target let alone one towards their goal.

Did the swansea commentator just say Manning will be pleased with this first half?
Yep, actually laughed out loud at that one
He also just said “Bristol City don’t look interested”. Me neither mate.

Body language of our players is terrible, Swansea close our defenders down and they just throw their arms up in frustration at the lack of passing options

Weeeey incredible corner routine

Payment by results?
Performance related payment, another run of 4 defeats and they’ll send you a tenner.

If Ipswich 2023/2024 are like Bristol City 2007/2008 then fair play to them, a team greater than the sum of their parts with a shrewd coach who can grind out wins like last night, or blow teams away.
It wasn’t that long ago Morsy was getting abused by Ipswich fans (every club has their share of these fans…) in league one and now he’s on the brink of the PL.
Just proves that while parachute payments are a major factor in getting promoted from this league, just occasionally a team will gel together and upset the odds.

It’s one thing to lose Alex Scott for significant money simply because he’s already “premier league ready”, but to slam the brakes on TC’s progress then potentially lose him for a lower price and not see him realise at least some of his full potential with us is really frustrating.

Ian would.be better off admitting he was wrong about NP. He is starting to.sound like one of those Tory MPs sent out to defend the indefensible on breakfast news shows.
“As I wandered through the High Performance Centre I tripped on a stray cone and I regret to say a part of my body accidentally entered him”

When Manning got back to the tunnel he looked up at SL and clapped and then gave Steve the thumbs up! Wtf was that about?
WTF, was that broadcast or did you see it in person?

The past three-six months have been complete self sabotage. I’ve never felt more disconnected from the whole thing.
The lowest I ever felt was the Holden appointment, but this isn’t far off. I think how unnecessary this all is makes it particularly frustrating.

The beginning of the end…
-
The top corridor identified a defeat at Cardiff and the disappointment (despite the difficult circumstances) that followed as the ideal situation to get rid of NP. I don’t think lightning will strike twice in one season, he’s here to stay.
-
Another full week of training has coincided with a defeat, this keeps happening. We were doing better when LM had less opportunity to coach the team because of fixture pile ups.

Not about the defeat but the performance, absolute disgrace.
