What ! DC didn't mention "money is no expense" this week , I'm so so disappointed !

    True that.

But he did come out with another gem.

    "The non-negotiables were good"!?

What does that mean?...... you agree to wear a comedy football kit or zummat?!

  2. Come on lads, we're all football fans.

Let's show some compassion, it must really hurt at the moment being one of the blue few. Losing yet again in stoppage time and seeming unable to buy a goal ( not that they've got any money anyway ).

No, it's ok, I'm over it now.

    Loyal and true?!

Oh the gift. Listening to the Geoff Twentyman phone in is like a football Samaritans hotline, fantastic.

    Thought the same

That's what I said in an earlier post.

The knobcheese actually said..."....money is no expense". Not, 'money is no object'.

He talk with gash tongue speak.

Then again, nothing new with the media misquoting individuals.

Covenants are all well and good until people start to smell money, then loopholes are mysteriously found.

You are correct. This happens time and time again unfortunately.

The big problem I have with this is that - and please correct me if I'm wrong - The Memorial Ground, is in fact that. A memorial ground to those rugby players that lost their lives serving our country. And therefore should be kept as such as a 'memorial' to those that fell. If not for rugby purposes specifically but sport generally.

Considering that the gasholes robbed the ground from Bristol Rugby I would assume that if there were any morals left at all, that any sale of the land/ground would be like for like to retain and perpetuate the principals of its creation.

Or maybe that's just too old fashioned thinking and money is the new power.

Let’s hope the dog botherer waits for the questions to be finished tonight. And he’s not his rude obnoxious self

We'll soon see. The whole experience and plush surroundings could render him speechless.

I expect he'll still get a few "Yeah,No's" in mind.

I was in Hawkshead today making deliveries. Stopped in the car park to eat a sandwich and then realised I was in exactly the same space I was in when 5 Live told me Bristol Rovers had just been relegated out of the football League.

Where were you at that same moment?

Thanks for asking. A special memory I'd love to share.

I was sat in a friends car, travelling from Bristol to Bath, with me missus and 3 other friends, for a slap up meal to celebrate a birthday.

As the games wore on I apologised to my fellow passengers, that something very special could be happening and that i had to stay in the car listening to Radio Bristol and said to them to carry on to the restaurant and I'd follow later.

Well, fair play to them all, they phoned the restaurant, said that we would be slightly late and waited by the car so I could soak it up.

And then it happened! They were somewhat perplexed at my euphoric behaviour but fed off of my positive vibes.

Oh, and the fact I also had a seemingly dead bet on the blue few getting relegated that came in to the tune of £150 was the icing on the cake. Blew the lot on fizz and cocktails for me and my friends.

Yes, thanks for asking. A very special day.

  7. Sorry to skip the milky thing but......COYR.

A possible vital 3 Championship points available tonight and who knows what the rest of the season may hold.

I was convinced we'd be relegated a couple of seasons ago and we miraculously stayed up, anything can happen in football. Just like us beating Manchester Utd, who'd have thunk it?

My positivity may be misplaced but I really want City to win tonight so come on ladies, save the doom and gloom for later if we don't perform.

    We may win 3 nil.

Am happy to show you my certificate anytime/anywhere of your choosing- and my commendations from  several Japanese  government ministries...

Wow, you are truly amazing. If only us mere mortals could be anything like you.

But hang on, you are gash, so therefore all your bragging - probably false - stands for nothing.

A *******, not an intellect is what you are.

  9. What I find annoying/complicit with the whole sag, bitter, twisted and loyal and proved thing, is that almost every mouthy blue ******, actually doesn't attend any of their games.

Yes, I know regulars that do follow most home and a lot of away games, but they're still pretty stupid at accepting the facts.

At least they support their team.

As for the one's that hate the shit heads and all that they are but don't actually attend games, I would like to break your umbrella then hope it rains!

The bloke is so full of shit it’s unreal. The club have used Solsoft for many years now as I’ve dealt with them when doing stuff for the Bristol Sport websites/DNS when they were hosted at Clik.

Even the front page of their website states they are preferred IT supplier for Bristol Sport - http://www.solsoft.co.uk/

So to clarify. Who is the preferred IT supplier for Bristol Sport.

Is it solsoft, Henbury Gas fictitious enterprises or some random, legitimate company?
