  1. From God's chosen land. Same here babber. We might be ignorant, but blessed.
  2. White punks on dope.. the tubes
  3. @Banjo Islandgot to say that it's been yonks since I've seen anyone say or post 'ideal' instead of idea. Great to see that the Bristolian dialect is alive and well. Some say it's simply adding an L to the end of words, but it also could be adding an 'aw' which in the great Bristolllian dialect sounds similar. And yes. He is doing a gert lush job there babber. Long may it continue. Up The City
  4. Yes, I heard that too but it confused me. It's still a cracking start for the new man at the helm of the pirate ship though ?
  5. Help me out here, I'm missing a game somewhere. He became manager of the gash on the 23rd December. I've got Wimbledon (lost), Fleetwood (drew), Don's (lost), Coventry (drew), Stevenage (lost). Which result am I missing?
  6. Ah yes, I see it now. How thick I am. Thanks for assisting me.
  7. Seen it, next post.... is... How does this have any correlation to the previous post? I'd like to occasionally join in, but if its just bollocks I'd rather not. It surely has to have some form of connection?
  8. Me too. Thanks for sharing. Made I chuckle too. But annoyingly, edit won't let me change laugh to l a f f Criminal on a Bristolian forum! FTG
  9. @Bristol Rob Cheers babber. Let's keep the fun going. Made I laugh.
  10. My son is taking part in a social experiment. He has to wear a Bristol Rovers top for 2 weeks to see how people react. So far he has been spat at, punched and verbally abused. It will be interesting to see what happens when he leaves the house.
  11. Mansfield, MANSFIELD! HA, of all the teams he could have gone to. And one that's 18th in League Two. Brilliant, just brilliant. The gift truly keeps giving.
  12. Anyone know where Coughlans family are based. I know it's Northern but not sure how north? Family, personal and professional considerations are obviously paramount, but if true, to drop from 4th in League one to 18th in League two speaks volumes.
  13. That video from the Villa boys is comedy gold. The Gash really are the jealous and bitter little brother of Bristolian football. I actually feel a little bit sorry for them....................I'm over that now, **** 'em, bell ends.
  14. On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me. The Rovers going into administree. Pretty crap lyrics but you get the sentiment.
  15. I see on the Bristol Live website that our Mayor, Marvin Rees says that the council will do all they can to help the gash find a new home, possibly at the fruit market site. I hope his feelings are shared equally towards Bristol City and all other clubs and sporting institutions. We and other bodies seem to be able to support ourselves and improve where we can. So should the gash by their own means. This "poor old Rovers" bollocks does my swede in!
  16. You said "Yeah no". Your not Darrell Clarke are you?
  17. @Mike Hunt-HertzI too started off with a green Triumph Herald. Cracking little motor. Then got a 1600E. Found out it was 2 cars welded together. Pulled away sharpish from the lights at the top of Winterstoke Road and the drivers seat fixing bolts came away and I ended up on the back seat, frantically scrambling back to try and stop the car from going into the boozer opposite. They don't make 'em like that anymore! Prior to that had a Garelli Tiger Cross. My dad worked at Rolls Royce and re-bored the piston, it went like shit off a shovel. That got nicked from Filton Technical College the day I put a Gert big chain on it for security. FTG
  18. Now come on, don't namby pamby about. If you've got something to say about the gash, let it out.
  19. Ha, good response. Yes, he probably does....poor soul. Life has dealt him a bad hand. Or he has just made shocking decisions in life. Not surprising really, if you chose to support the gash. UP THE CITY
  20. @Bristol Rob Please don't bring Brexit or other politics bollocks into it. There's a different forum for that.
  21. Wow, didn't spot that scenario. Thanks for educating me. It can't really happen though, can it?! It would be such a tragedy ?
  22. If Scunny win their last two games to overtake the gash, that means Muff can't overtake them as they're playing Scunny on the last day. So the gash stay up either way.
  23. It unfortunately isn't going to happen this season. The Muff are up against the Scunthorpe on the last day, make of that what you will, but it means there simply aren't enough points available to send them down. Spawny gits.
