  1. Agree it is great. However as a dad of young children, I feel that maybe the goal of blueys dad is unattainable he is basically the dad that everyone wants to be , but it isn’t always that simple ( work commitments, other stuff etc). sorry didn’t mean to go deep on a bluey post  . It is a top kids show no doubt
  2. I blanked out didn’t get anywhere near entering details . about 50% of our group got them though so still not giving up hope we can get the rest (including mine) in resale good work all who managed to bag them apologies in advance if I come crawling back here near resale day looking for assistance ha
  3. That new AM doesn’t scream great stadium show material ha bit like the last album. Good in its own way but prob prefer them to drop a load of bangers off the old albums live
  4. Watched this a couple of weeks back. Really good I thought. Also glad to see it at cinema as I think it really worked with big screen and sound. Not sure I would have been quite as immersed in it if watching it at home on telly
  5. Ah didn’t realise this , thank you. Will now try soon
  6. Been to pasture 3 times over the last couple of years and been really impressed each time . Both steaks and sides always really good Ox really good too, although I feel sometimes they oversalt the chips Ashville does a good steak too but doesn’t have the feel of a nice night out like the other two which are a bit flasher have resisted that steak on stone place (mugshot) as think it’s a bit of cheek to have to pay top end restaurant prices then cook it yourself ha. Too tight that’s my problem
  7. Yeah it was pretty busy but I guess that’s prob pretty commonplace when these massive stadiums empty out. We walked to seven sisters tube station (25 mins or so) and got on there . Was still pretty chocca all the way and in the station though
  8. Went up to London game yesterday. Good day out. Saints looked like they were going to get pumped by end of Q1 but did pretty well to put a fight up and make a really good game of it with lots of best offensive players missing. Talk about a tight finish ! disappointed Saints lost but good game and good day. Spurs stadium is lovely but it’s so badly organised on match day. The bars by us had run out of most beers and half the food options by end of the first quarter. Was similar when I went last year . Mad to think they can’t pull finger out
  9. Thanks guys. With TV games announced already , and no firm track record of police rescheduling I will plan as if it stays at 3pm Sat then
  10. Evening all. does anyone reckon this 3pm Sat home game might get bumped onto the Sunday lunchtime either for TV or policing reasons ? or would we have been told by now if so? trying to plan something that weekend and don’t want to clash the fixture
  11. They are one of my fav bands also. Really gutted to hear about Wins behaviour when it broke. didnt have tickets for this tour so didn’t have the decision to make myself on attendance. Hope whatever the real truth is comes out in time so it all become less murky. No way they could replace him and carry on if he is to be cancelled in due course (as per Kasabaian). Preparing myself for real possibility they might dissapear after these upcoming gigs and I never get to hear those tunes I love live again. As Silvio D mentioned earlier on they are an incredible live act even though last couple of albums have dipped a bit in quality comparatively IMO (but still decent with a few high points) , their live setlists are stilll amazing. Funeral is prob in my top 3 albums
  12. Not sure mate. I googled it and it looks like they showed the first one . im right next to the ground so would be a touch if so, save me solo paying for a home purchase there will def be somewhere in town I could head to but AG would be great for convenience. Might give them a buzz
  13. Hello all. Any idea on likelihood of AJ v Usyk 2 being shown at AG sports bar?
  14. I was there recently. altho la ramblas is a shocking tourist trap in general, la bouqueria market as others have mentioned is ace whether you actually sit down and get a stool at one of the many eateries , or whether you just graze your way round like a fat king you can def do a lot worse than nip in there you could do a lot worse than lose a few hours in there in fact also worth noting at the very foot of la ramblas they seemed to have installed some kind of semi-permanent looking food festival with loads of stalls and a couple of bars supporting. I don’t know for sure if it is there permanently , but the build looked too good to just have been their for a couple of weeks or similar. Looked like they had some pretty good stuff there with each stand manned by different chefs / food providers linked to some quite posh restaurants etc one place that everyone bangs on about down toward the harbour is … https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g187497-d940427-Reviews-Can_Paixano_La_Xampanyeria-Barcelona_Catalonia.html they do cava and pork and cheesy nibbles I believe . I have tried to get in three visits and failed each time. Own fault tho really, first they were closed for a long fam holiday , second time there was a Que and I didn’t fancy it, Third time it was a Monday and I hadn’t realised they are always closed Monday . Doh! If you get in let me know ha
  15. Did anyone got to war on drugs in Bristol Monday night? If so any good ? Was tempted but thought better of it being in recovery mode
  16. What a year! Weather was incredible. Saw so many bands , prob most I have ever managed across the main 3 days. Feet tingling , legs aching , back in bits , think age is def catching up with me ha by day i watched .. fri - Libertines , Wet Leg, a bit of Sleaford mods, supergrass , idles, sam fender , a bit of little simz , then headed to Arcadia to the close Sat - Brass Against , skunk Anansie , Metronomy, Squid, Big Thief , Avalanches and McCartney sun - Bit of sports team , bit of Ukrainian band I can’t spell on pyramid , herbie Hancock , Diana Ross, Jack white , Kendrick Idles, McCartney and Kendrick prob the best acts by day. Wasn’t really sure what to expect going into Kendrick but the show was incredible , surpassed all expectations. Think that will go down as a bit of a classic with him at peak of powers got a pretty clean run on way in and out of festival which was a bonus too. saw a few city shirts on display , favourites was a guy who had the yellow Sanderson away shirt with green collars. Think that might have been akinbyi era hope everyone who went had a good one, and ticket gods favour everyone in the sale come Oct time
  17. Turns out I can’t go later after all now so my pittiful offer no longer stands ha. Hope everyone going has awesome time If anyone else is looking to try and pick up a late cheap ticket , I have seen a few bobbing around for about £60 on the Twickets app today , and imagine it might go even lower later
  18. Good luck all travelling today, hope Ques aren’t too savage on traffic approach and first entry I can’t head down until tomorrow morning this year. Cannot wait
  19. Afternoon all. If anyone ends up with a completely spare ticket for this on Wednesday night gig they cannot shift , and they would like to recoup £40 for it rather than see it go dead , drop me a message. I live 5 min walk from AG so could come and meet you before with cash easy. appreciate face value of these are £100 an upwards , but that’s a bit rich for me. I’ve been to events before where someone drops out last minute and I have had tickets go totally unused as couldn’t find a taker at short notice. So if anyone finds themselves in a similar scenario give me a shout. I can slightly sweeten that deal by letting you double park my car ion the drive, so you would have a parking space also if driving appreciate this offer looks pants now, but might hold some appeal Wednesday afternoon if you get a drop out late in day
  20. Can’t wait to get back on the farm after the long gap since last time. eagerly anticipating the full lineup drop so I can start working out the terrible clashes. I have a ticket for Primavera Sound weekend 1 in Barcelona next week, never been before. Hoping I might be able to catch some acts there to mitigate clashes at Glasto end of June. that said I’m afraid to get too excited about either until I pass through the festival gates, just in case something scuppers me (covid/ Bristol airport / other). fingers crossed.
  21. Glad to hear it bet you are chuffed. also it isn’t that far away now so you can get really excited straight away. Our group managed to pick up 1 for my mate who missed out in coach sale , then 8 for friends of friends this morning too. Def seemed a bit easier than previous years. Guessing more tickets went back in the hat as everything has changed so much for a lot of people over 2.5 years
  22. These guys did a tune a while back called ‘ how did it happen’ which was really good
  23. Always looks out for this thread for some good tips my faves this year … Avalanches - we will always love you. Technically came out Dec last year but as so late I’m sticking it down here. Comfortably my fav album I have been listening to this year. Great variety of tunes, spot on guest vocal features, really consistent throughout. fleet foxes - shore . A real return to form IMO. For people who enjoyed early stuff litl simz - not necessarily type of stuff I listen to a lot but every track I heard on radio was great and the whole album really delivered Weather station and shame albums good throughout squid - bright green fields idles - crawler dry cleaning - new long leg mogwai - as love continues these ones not quite as consistent throughout but the highlight tracks are awesome
  24. Possibly a bit of a push as they are a bit of a local mega act now rather than small local, but Idles two new tracks released off the the soon to be released 4th album are great
  25. This! About time the Murray song got a reboot possibly suuuuper , super Scott tho
