Really? If that was us and we managed to get back into the league, i would just be satisfied that we were trying to rebuild. I've said before that Rovers are a div2/3 club and that's where i expect them to be. Dropping out of the league was an unthinkable, humiliating low. Celebrating 'like we won the premier league' after winning the conference play off final on penalties, i would not be doing. To me it lacks dignity and looks tin pot. Just like being proud of setting attendance records in the conference???!! If it makes you happier City could drop down to the screwfix and set every record imaginable, but that's just pathetic.

Oh come on, how isnt this funny? I get too watch them 'celebrate ' promotion BACK to division 4. Its hilarious.

Loads, why not. its fun laughing at them. I celebrated like **** when they were relegated to div 4, now they're celebrating being promoted to it. One of the saddest states I've ever seen.

I wish we had a work horse striker who tbe purests admire. Im sick and tired of flair players encouraging the next generation to take an interest in City and pretend to be them at school rather than some premier league foreigner. Its like that Jacki bloke. No one remember s him, well nkt as well as those strikers who put a shift in. Come on Cotts there must be a non descript nobody out there who genrates no excitement or flare. If we dont sale JET soon, our shite back four and gutless middle wont get better!

I don't know if you have kids but an 8 year old going on 9 has an understanding of rivalry and he knows who city's are. As for the games you mention, I was personally more up for Cardiff away in the league than our Johnstones Tin pot cup game. Of course I wanted to win, I want city too win all games. Just my opinion if course, I get stick from city fans about it, but to me the rivalry means the most to the late seventies eighties generation.

It is what it s mate. In the 80s something was going on, but the last 20 years has just been an irrelevance. Christ when I was in my late teens Stoke was the real battle. Maybe one day things will change for you. Perhaps Darlington said the same. Who knows? Who cares?

Rovers are who they are and it will never change. There's no point rising to it. On Saturday my dad said to my eldest who is 8, that The game was a derby match, to which he corrected him as we weren't playing Cardiff! Will Rovers ever be relevant again? Who knows? Who cares? Forest Green in the Gloucestershire derby?
