  1. One result and suddenly manning is the messiah? Utterly laughable.

Yes it was a good result, but this also happened against Southampton (coincidentally also on tv…) where the manning ball was shelved for direct/ counter attack.

And what followed? Weeks of absolute s**t .

If we finally sustain some consistent form following this I will gladly review my position but past performance so far suggests this will be yet another flash in the pan and we’ll be back to boring dross when playing a non glamour fixture….

I am seriously starting to wonder whether a right shellacking tomorrow is the only way that this mess will get dealt with swiftly and properly. More weeks of this will not do anybody any favours.......except Jon and Brian who are clearly having fun at the moment.

Even then I don’t think it will. Brian, Jon and manningbot are all utterly shameless cowards.

How can this guy seriously not have the self awareness to realise he is coming across a complete and utter moron repeating the same phrases over and over….unless of course he is intentionally trolling us.

I just can’t fathom why anyone would give this guy with no connection at all to the club the time of day.

I'm not sensing any outrage. More disbelief and laughter type of feeling. For me too its about priorities, let's get a few basics right and bring back a bit of feelgood between the club and the fans.

Also perhaps not really the time or the place for Zak, or whoever is behind this, to be launching a personal range. They would have probably been better exploring this in the close season, not amid the emotions and turmoils of this one.

    This is bang on.

It just sums up how poor the ownership are, that they think this is a good idea right now.

They are either intentionally trolling the fan base at this point or they really are unbelievably stupid….

  4. What the actual **** is that? We are just a banter club now.

Nothing against Zak but player specific lines like this? Really? Must have had really good behaviours this month.

Priorities all wrong at this club, deserve any and all ridicule they get frankly.

I'm really not having all this revisionism nonsense in regard to comparisons to Pulis.

Pulis brought in injured journeyman  and under his contract he profited from the sale of players.   He was ex-gas and struggles to hide his contempt for anything Bristol City.  He was totally out for himself.   His football didn't suit OUR players, but it suited the shite he brought in.  We played much better after he was sacked and we dropped the his journeymen and played our youth.

I was more than willing to give Manning a chance, and defended his right to have a chance at doing the job when I felt he was undeservedly taking flak for the decisions of those above him.

Given the circumstances in which he came in, I don't think he has ever been given the benefit of the doubt in anything he has done or said.

Manning is proving hard to like, but  Pulis was hard not to hate.  I still hate the bloke.   I'm not swayed by his success either.  There are lots of successful people in this world that are ******* horrible individuals and have no redeeming qualities.

That said Manning isn't filling me with any confidence as time has gone on.  The friends I go to the game with are more fed up than angry.  None of us are the types that boo players off or call for managers to be sacked.   I don't think he'll be sacked before next season, simply because I don't think the hierarchy are ready to admit their failings.

I wasn’t referring to pulis time with us…..

Like him or loathe him he achieved far more in the game after his spell with us than this no mark ever will

The irony here is we all cite TP as the comparison low point and yet he went on to become a very successful PL manager - who actually played a dull style that suited his players.

We mustn’t overlook that Manning is front and centre of the season ticket renewal advertisement- this was a clear statement from the Board.

All this talk about low attendance in the next game overlooks it’s mates rates and we should be near to capacity no matter what ghe silent majority might think!

Key part of this being pulis played a style that SUITED his players

Manning is willingly ignoring all logic and persisting with what ever the **** he deems as his style with players clearly not suited and you can’t replace a whole squad overnight

Another key point made is he has no rapport with the fans at all and he comes across as though he doesn’t need one and fans are an inconvenience. I personally have never outright disliked a head coach/ manager as much as him

Sod days were abysmal but at least he had some track record where you could at least see why the board appointed him….seriously what the **** has this guy done to warrant a championship job??

Tbf we played really well a long long time ago against Southampton so I’m sure all is fine.

I’m pretty certain that is going to be his only highlight in his city career (he ain’t turning this around)

Best of manning dvd featuring 2 draws against prem sides in poor form and a win against southampton

bonus disc featuring 30 minutes of behaviours…

  9. When he’s all over our marketing material for season tickets despite being an operations role sorry but everything coming his way is fair game and only enhances people’s view he is egotistical and holds way too much influence .

    He’s a legend in his own mind…30 year tins….

Read the room City, read the room! What on earth is Tinnion doing on there! When do football ops people end up on a promo! This is awful, Manning too at the centre of it all, go with a player instead like Pringy who deserves it. Seriously bad PR!

Probably because Pring is next on the conveyor belt to be sold to add to our Steve’s nest egg…..

Agree, it’s like putting Mark Ashton on it when he was here. Strange

As someone else said I’m pretty sure this is a shot across the bow to us mere peasants for having the audacity to question the hierarchy.

message received loud and clear will be non league games for me for a while

How on earth have we gone from Richard Gould and Nigel Pearson to Jon Lansdown, Brian Tinnion and Liam Manning.

I mean I know the answer, he lives in Guernsey, but still. What a ******* dumb football club.

They are getting exactly what they deserve for all their investment…sweet fa.

It’s hilarious really how much has been wasted just for it to get to this Mickey Mouse set up.

We are absolutely tinpot…well funded (historically) but tinpot

Tinnion has sounded increasingly, and slightly unnecessarily, rattled. His tone is so defensive and bordering on out of control - he sounds completely exasperated.

And I don't think Richard Hoskin has been as half as forceful as he could've been.

Imagine tinnion having to deal with national media if we ever fluked our way to the prem…..

  15. It’s quite amusing the referring back to 30 years here , almost sounds combative against us as a fan base…here’s a hint if we’re annoying you with us questioning your place do us all a favour and bugger off elsewhere
