  1. There ma be a little bit of wriggle room there for the Gash but then that surely leaves it open to an appeal by Sainsburys should the Gash appeal and win. Then it will go on ad infinitum.
  2. So was Ashton Vale, but and I saw little sympathy from the Sags then. So screw them.
  3. No chance Aldi or Lidl will pay 30 Million for the Mem. Even if they did, It would leave a significant funding gap.
  4. Think they only get told 24 hours in advance of the result and for someone to have disclosed it to him would have been contempt of court. Think he's just taking a 50/50 swing at it. Further to that, I'd imagine that if the result has gone against Sainsbury's (as they'll already know) they would quite possibly be monitoring things like Twitter and Forums connected to the Gash for a 'leak' of some sort.
  5. Not sure the Gash has the coin to appeal? This court case in Poker terms is their 'All In'.
  6. Not surprised. Who wants a six month contract?
  7. "I think it's more significant that they missed out on a signing because they would only offer him a contract to the end of the calendar year, instead of the whole season!" If that's true that's bizarre.
  8. I stand corrected (said the man in the orthopaedic shoes). However, my point still stands. They have no immediate financial concerns.
  9. Don't think there is any current financial issues for them to worry about. Wembley final, decent sized crowds last season, season ticket money will be in the bank...they'll be fine.
  10. Don't really think your question can be answered until the outcome of the court case is known. It really does literally all boil down to that IMHO. Lose that and they will be in serious trouble...Win it and all's fine in their little world populated by sky pixies.
  11. Why would Piggs be looking to sell? They have a "watertight" contract with Sainsbury's that is just about to pay out, a new cash cow ground in the offing, a huge fan base, the best pitch outside the premier league and have just finished second in the conference. Why would he possibly want to sell when things are looking so rosy?
  12. Wishful thinking at best. They've plucked that figure out their asses in both hope and desperation. Someone should tell them that it's Sainsburys that have taken them to court and not the other way round.
  13. Why wouldn't they? Finishing second in a pub league is quite an achievement.
  14. "Hopefully this will be the end of this odious little man" I think you underestimate him.
  15. An open top bus tour for finishing second in the conference? Jesus wept. Talk about desperate.
  16. Have to be worried about Swindle if this stays the same. Yes, they're 15 behind but 3 games in hand one of those against us...they could knock it down to 6. Not all over by a long way.
  17. If you're not convinced the title race is over then nor is promotion a dead cert? Swindon are still there or thereabouts. If PNE can catch us then so can Swindon.
