  1. Spot on. They feed off this myth that they're somehow super fans or one of a kind and that the club is totally unique. Although i suppose leaving Bristol to play in Bath would make them pretty unique. They should get their heads out of their asses.
  2. If thats their idea of an "agent" lets hope we get many more like Cotts. What a bunch of turds.
  3. Accept the facts guys: they're coming for us.
  4. Er, no...from my FB: " the tide is turning most games are now sold out, when we get the new stadium all bought & paid for i hasten to add we will be the best supported club in the south west end of so wind your neck in & accept the facts!"
  5. There is something very odd about the Sag takeover. It's not as if the UWE was an initial draw for the takeover - Sainsbury's and the legal case have made that a coin flip - so he hasn't come for that. His team have already said that he had looked at other league 1/2 teams. This process must have been very recent - 6 months ago the Sags were non league. So why the Sags, why now? Its very strange. Although I do think Piggs has played a blinder.
  6. Gas: any idea what the "amazing heritage" is that your new owner is referring too? I can't think of anything.
  7. Me neither, and as such there is no stigma attached to you.
  8. What stigma? Thats all on them. I don't remember Bristol City FC being relegated to the Conference. Should we also feel stigma because they moved to Bath, or because they stole the rugby ground, or because they are selling a war memorial, or because they intend to leave Bristol again?
  9. I'd wager that they're more poorly run behind the scenes than we are. This is a club that didn't even budget for relegation when it had been on the cards for years). The whole Sainsbury's farce, the Cheltenham farce, Twerton etc etc. There is a long, long way to go before they gain on us. They'll be at the Mem for at least 3 more years - we'd could be out of sight by then.
  10. You couldn't make it up could you. Continually been berated by them "duke of Guernsey" etc. etc., and now...... You just know they're going to be turning up with tea towels on their heads tomorrow. But, they wont be selling out. oh no. They wouldn't dream of it.
  11. Wake up call? We're 2/3rds of the way through a stadium redevelopment which will take the capacity up to 27,000 - when they've not even broken ground on a much smaller stadium and we're two leagues higher than them with not much likelihood of that gap changing. What wake up call do we need?
  12. Piggs should be more careful who he deals with his; so far we've found out his lawyers and accountants are horse manure.
  13. If true, it would suggest to me that the Sags know they've lost (or they not at all confident) the Sainsbury's case. Backers come in, build the UWE, reap the benefits and the Sags become tenants would be my guess.
  14. At the moment I'm right. Hopefully it stays that way. Appleton would be a complete kick in the balls if it were to happen .
  15. Have a hard job; Appleton still works for Oxford. There has been no news of an approach to Oxford, no resignation, nothing, Lawrenson is talking out of his anus as per usual.
  16. My bold. Whats the old saying....Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results?
  17. What exactly do you expect the next week to bring? You're not another one believing the transfer window is going to save the season are you? And as for telling people to f off to the Gash. Should people just take these farcical performances on the chin?
