Aside from Forest Green, the performances have largely given us reasons to be cheerful, the results will come if we play like this regularly.

We just don’t get any luck with the bounce if the ball the Swansea shot off the post creating the one-two, then the clearance off the line hitting the keeper, when a ft either side would have played it out. Still fancy us to get something out of this, just got to stay strong, we’re mostly the better team.

Got to give it 10 games to see where we are, most people would expect/predict a mid-table’ish finish. It’s not great watching currently that’s for sure, and I’m half hoping there’ll be some FFP accounting somersaults which will give Pearson some wriggle room in what’s left of the transfer market…. If we’re going to continue playing one up front then we have to get someone more effective than Martin that’s for sure, and an actual RB. I would argue a LB too.

I don’t know, don’t like slagging individual players off, he’s been rated at his various loan clubs hence thinking that there is a player in there. Last season’s tombola selections did him no favours confidence-wise. Simpson might have nous, but just too slow now. And I think most views on the forum about Jack Hunt last season were hardly glowing. Perhaps time to find some cash for a new right back.

I think there’s a player in there, just not at right back. Slightly unfashionable but I think he could play as a sweeper in front of a back 3/4.

To keep within the theme of moaning about badges, how about a “I’m not a ******* right back” badge for Vyner

Really don’t get the one man up front against any Warnock side, that one man has got to win everything aerially and Martin just isn’t. This is screaming for balls in the channels with speed merchants getting in behind Boro’s centre halves.

Mmm, okayish, some tidy play at times, lost our way second half. Not enough movement up front for me. Palmer and James like playing through balls, no one really making runs through the middle to encourage that. Ended up a bit like last year, deep crosses to no one.
