  1. To be fair, the initial noise I heard came from the Watford end, there was a response from our lot, but it was to tell them to shut up. It’s a shame that a very small minority ruined it.
  2. I hate to say it, but if VAR was in use in the Championship then we 100% get at least one of those given to us. Both would be given as fouls anywhere else on the pitch without any fuss.
  3. I used to take a wheelchair user to away games a fair few years ago and used to see Andrew and his dad at games all over the country. Sad to hear that he’s passed away, my sincerest of condolences to Stephen and all his family and friends. RIP Andrew.
  4. Exeter all the way for me, I remember Plymouth fans being absolute knobs when they got promoted in 2004 and we didn’t. Some even stopped at the Gate early one morning with a banner saying D2 Champions the season afterwards. A very special bunch.
  5. Mine keeps freezing, I’ve given up!
  6. I saw that Charlton fans rated him very highly, and for Tommy Conway in particular, being mentored by a man who had an excellent career at the top level can only be a good thing.
  7. A while back I read Peter Schmeichel‘s autobiography, in it he talks about Kasper’s career at Leicester and he speaks about Nige in glowing terms, going as far as saying that Leicester’s PL triumph was pretty much down to Nige and not Claudio Ranieri!
  8. I’d be very wary of a foreign owner coming in, there’s been some absolute car crashes of foreign takeovers over the years. Whilst some fresh ideas and a cash injection would be very welcome, it has to be the right person.
  9. I listened to this earlier, another cracking pod chaps.
  10. Even more of their masses of fans to be locked out!
  11. Be Good Love Brian, by Craig Bromfield, maybe not strictly about Football, but a dam good read nonetheless.
  12. What’s wrong with Downend? I’m Kingswood born and bred, I’m coming up to 41, when I was at school 25+ years ago there was more Sags, although there was always plenty of us Reds around. Now as others have said there’s lots more us around, I guess it’s a legacy of them having to of minded the gap for over 20 years!
  13. As a side note, it’s very sad that his passing has not yet been acknowledged on any of the clubs official social media channels.
  14. RIP, I was lucky enough to meet him at the 25th anniversary dinner for the Freight Rover Trophy back in 2011. Him and TC are the hardest working managerial team our club has ever had. Hopefully one day they’ll be formally recognised somewhere within Ashton Gate.
  15. The Sags would still claim to have thousands locked out!
  16. Should be called The Terry Cooper stand…,
  17. Sums it up perfectly.
  18. I was unfortunate enough to witness the debacle of an England game at Wolves tonight, luckily I listened to the second part on the way home, sone good stuff, especially enlightening with the events at Blackburn 10 years ago.
  19. Ukraine will only have themselves to blame if the jocks get an equaliser, they should of put this to bed long before that goal.
  20. I think it’s on Premier Sports.
  21. Almost as many as were locked out you mean?
  22. Would you care to elaborate on exactly what a “moronic Brexity fan” is please?
