We have two keepers who are chalk and cheese. One pinned to the line, the other not able to stay on his line. Though both are top drawer one on one.
Max saves a penalty today.... Not even a talking point.
As its irrelevant because that didnt save the game as he stayed on his line to save it. If he stayed near his line on the 2nd goal theres zero danger.
Bajic will be in goal within the next 3 or 4 games in my opinion.- 1

Confused. Did they get a pen right at the end that Max saved?
And?! Game was over BECAUSE of Max. Terrible keeper.

Bentley was obviously dropped for not commanding his box well enough. That’s the result I suppose.
Flapper Phillips has reincarnated as flapper O’Leary! Terrible gk. Not even close to being good enough for this level at all.
Bajic next game then! -
Tbf dont think he was bad today. Certainly couldnt blame him for our inept and embarrassing performance anyway!!

I heard an interview with Simon Jordan a month or so ago when the topic being discussed was the price of food and drink inside and outside football grounds - together with the impact of late arrivers to a game because they were downing their last pint etc.
Apparently when he was at Palace he made the point that all drink and food inside the ground was cheaper than anything around the ground.
It had the effect of getting fans in earlier, which saved the last minute rush through the turnstiles at the same time making the club an extra few bob by increased sales - and most importantly, the fans weren’t paying extortionate prices.
Perhaps more clubs, including City, should take this view!
Doubt it.
I remember a couple of years ago the club saying matchday revenue had gone from £600k per year to over £3m from food and drink due to facilities etc.Not a chance they make it cheaper and, judging by how busy it gets, no real need or desire to i would imagine!

Give the bloke a break
He’s had to put up with court cases , incompetent officials , injuries , the expectation of managing a massive club and now pesky ‘kids’ trying to kick his ‘seasoned pros’ () off the pitch
Dont forget 6 deflected goals in just one game!

Bemoaning the competition saying its not worth it. Then says it risks injuries to senior players. Yet, he picks senior players?!
Joey-logic obviously.

I had the same. I called and got the seat I wanted no problems
What a top nause to piss about ringing those clowns tho when the system should just allow it!

You're not the first person to spot this. Can understand the system for something like a cinema booking, but there's been times where the only way I could book a single seat as it was the only one in a row where every seat around it was already sold
Its mad. Will most likely be 20,000 there so near on 7,000 unused seats, yet i cant book a single one because i upset the bloody system. Its not a bloody plane seat is it.

So, just trying to buy a ticket for my boy to sit in front of me on Saturday and our quality website wont let me purchase as im being told to ‘please alter selection due to leaving individual seat in current row’.
Do the club not want my money?! Ridiculous. Need him to sit near to me in Dolman and only ticket near is a couple in front ( which is fine ), but it wont let me buy it!!!What a ridiculous system!

I don't actually think we've played too badly in that first half, although I've been surprised at how high our back line has been. Two bad mistakes by Naismith, but Conway and Dasilva (or was it Wells?) missed guilt-edged chances too. Norwich look to be playing well within themselves, mind. 2-0 is often a precarious lead, that next goal was always going to be crucial. Game on.
By far the better team. Very composed is possession too.
Two Naismith shockers have made it a tough job but that Conway goal was coming and fully deserved. -

They do realise that time is added on for that sort of thing?
No but its unfair! Barton going on about punters paying £ for entertainment.
Does he think teams are just guna roll over and let them win?! What a wally. -
Hang on, does this not mean we are not little old bristol shitty now?!
Teams may actually take us seriously for a change and not have their billy big boy club that ‘shouldnt be losing to them’ tag?!
wow!

Who's the poor Morecombe manager who'll incur Jailbird Joey's wrath today then? Doubtless they'll have done something to upset him...
radio Bristol is a dream. Fans moaning about the Morecambe gk taking his time with the ball.
Entitled to nothing, but expecting everything. Who do the blue few think they are!- 4

Maybe it's a club led decision then, always assumed SAG input though.

Done to death on here over the years, this theme and varieties of it.
My assumption is that it's linked to Safety Advisory Group guidance, all clubs and events have one, all where there ie scope, interpret the regulations differently. This maybe one such area.
Yet you can have a concert with it all turned off!!! Madness

Exactly! Throw me out?!

While we are on tge bright yellow army, wtf is it with them insisting on checking tickets in the dolman?! Even at H/T i had to show it again to get back to my seat! Annoying and unneccesary.

It was an estimate so could have been more. Does it really matter?
Yes, because Rovers wouldve taken 12,000!

Wouldn't be surprised if one of them starts next match.
Sykes and Scott have played well so would be harsh to drop them.
Sykes will be back in on Weds for sure.

With the exception of the “temporary” East Stand, Blackpool have managed to squeeze a neat looking redeveloped ground into a tight space. Only 16k ish capacity but not much room for any more
I think you mean theyve squeezed a neat looking ground into a tight space within a complete shithole of a town!
