Monologue by City, except for a few minutes: overall good play and many chances (what a miss by King!)for us, almost nothing for them, who were often rude. We should have had a clear pen, but we risked too with Dasilva.

Weimann or Mehmeti in the second half?

Dont know why everyone is getting upset by King’s miss. Even the bloody commentator failed to see he was given offside! ??

  2. Not sure if it’s just me but i really think we’ve gone all ‘Real Madrid’ on this one and have a first dibs buy-back clause!

Just seemed an odd sale, for a cheap fee, of a promising youngster, at very short notice.

I just feel we’ll be seeing him back in 3 years to bolster our Premier League squad! ?

  3. Isnt this all just a load of old bollox?! Who cares! Far too many snowflakes in this world now i’m afraid.
Unfortunately ( for most imo ), swearing is part of general vocabulary nowadays.
Yes it should be reigned in and certainly around kids, but are we really that bothered? I know i’m not!

They seem to think our new scarves are something to take the piss out of tonight.

What has Wally ever given them ?

A sheet of Andrex each to use in their portaloos ?

They had new curtains in their supporters club bar tbf.
And the promise of tin roofs instead of tents next season.
What a prospect from the fake Sheikh!! ??

For those of you there - does Max’s pink stand out sufficiently from the red?

Makes no sense to me that you’ve got all the colours in the world to choose from for a keeper shirt, and they pick one similar-ish to red.

Yes. Colour-blind me had zero issues with it clashing with the new shirts.

  6. Best defender still at the club by a mile.
Never had injury issues for 3 seasons so because he picked up a bad one hes labelled as not worth the money.
If he will drop his wages to the new structure the club wish to pay going forward then he will be a quality signing for next season if he renews.

I think it looks better than the initial pictures suggested.  My kids love the keeper tops too.

Said the same. Looks better on than the pics. Plus we dont look like Rotherham now either. ?
Be interesting to see the away versions though as i really loved both away hummel kits this season.

  8. Lots of unlucky blocks and deflections. This could easily be 3-0 to us.
Sure the goal(s) will come 2nd half.
Wells needs to be on though.

As good as we have looked, we are still yet to have a shot on target.

Seeing some great link up play, but Bell is drifting out wide and we then have no options in the box.

Wells could make a difference in the second half.

    Wrong. Sykes 1st minute.

A bit of a shameless plug…but hopefully ok given the cause!

A group of 4 of us, all City fans, some I think who post on here, are doing a charity walk in April from Taunton Cricket Ground, to Ashton Gate. The route via WSM is roughly 53 miles and the plan is to leave Taunton mid afternoon on April 9th, arriving at Ashton Gate in time for City vs Middlesbrough on 10th April at 3.

We’re doing this in aid of the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation.

Sadly 2 years ago today, my Dad lost his life to Motor Neurone Disease. He loved both cricket and football, so a fitting route we think. He was a ST holder since first taking me back in 00/01! We sat in Block F of the Atyeo untill the redevelopment and then S21 in the new South Stand. His last game was the pre Fulham Covid game, so a good metaphor for his City life that we conceded late at home in his last game…?? One of the other walkers lost his Mum to MND in 2014, so it’s sadly effected all 4 of us.

As we all know, MND is abysmal. It’s been in the news a lot recently especially with high profile sports people sadly being diagnosed, but there is still no known cure. There are some awful diseases in this world, but the hopelessness of this when diagnosed is appalling. On average people die within 2 years of being diagnosed.

So, on a shit day, and and in memory of my Dad Simon, and my mates Mum, Diane, we’re doing this.

I know times are shit (good timing Dad ?) but any money given brings treatment and eventually a cure every so slightly closer. If you can’t offer a donation, then any sharing or spreading the word would be equally appreciated. I hate pushing and self publicising, but I’ll make an exception for this **** of a disease.

Oh, and Ive said I’ll donate personally based on City goals between now and then. £10 a goal between today and Boro at home. So no 5-5 draws tomorrow please!

Cheers all. Any support hugely appreciated by us all.

A great cause and well done to you. Lost my mother in law to this ten years ago when it was lesser known and it is horrendous.
Fair play to you all. ?

I mean, on what planet would you be on as a Rovers fan to claim more loyal fans than Bolton, who stuck by their club as the plummeted, Sheffield Wednesday who have been stuck in league one for years. Ipswich get huge gates for league one…Derby, you could go through more teams.

    They’re nothing special.

I believe the word is delusional!
