I'll bet if that had been made by Hummel people would love it and decide it was an instant classic.
True. But in other truth this is horrific.

I do enjoy the radio after their latest poor result.
Are they some kind of world force in football though? Its laughable to every week hear how the other ‘average’ teams are coming to Tentsville and not deserving their results. How other teams play to stop them playing. How its unfair they didnt win.
Where does their supposed greatness come from ffs?! Its hillarious listening to them. Theyre all being brainwashed by Super Joey and talking just like he does.- 2

Absolute embarrassment of a referee.
Whether goals are offside or not thats just marginal. As for the red card, well hes just bottled it.
Swansea commentator on the stream says ‘the bristol fans think the refs a homer’. Well, you think! -

Where is this/the squad reported, had a quick Google and couldn't see anything.
Not doubting the original poster, just wondered who needed to drop out for him to get the nod.
LOTS of players!

Surprised tbh.
But its a nice bit of recognition for him, should give him a lift, he's not looked at his best so far (certainly at home games).
Very surprised. He might fit in at age level against blokes his own size as hes like a small boy playing 1st team.
Cant be that bad though if hes almost got a call up, so be interesting to see if he gets in. -
Pub league manager couldnt cut it in a pub league.
Cant see him being successful anywhere with his confusing tactics and interviews!- 1

Why does he always describe teams theyve just lost to as ‘not the best team’, or criticize the way that team may have played, almost as if theyre Man City and teams dont have the right to come to the shithole and play a tactic to win the game?!
Blokes a bloody cretin and i cant believe the gash fans fall for it.
On another note, theyre surely putting their finances under pressure this season with all these signings and some relative ‘names’ for that standard?

And dont forget the 40,000 locked outside having to live in Nailsea instead.

Unfortunately i believe our current No 9, Mr H Cornick, will be this cover.

I’ve been consistent on Bell - I’m not sold on him at all. There is clearly something there - he’s quick and IIRC Tins stated he was the best finisher at the club. However, in the season and a bit he’s had games up top/wide I’ve never seen enough to say that there is a player at this level. There might be ultimately but I think decision making and game awareness is way off.
The fact he’s the only one of the front men to have started all games (I think) I’d put down to him competing with an injured Weimann and an adapting Mehmeti.
I’m not writing him off yet but he needs to seriously start showing more both short term and over the course of the season.
Bell isnt quick though! When do you see him go past a full back and skin him, never.
Hes not slow but hes definitely not quick to scare a defender!- 1

Could we have had a penalty too or not really? First half penalty shout certainly- was it? Less so.
Defo. That barge gets given anywhere else on the pitch. Dead cert pen imo ( well, obvs not for us!)

Seems like we have VAR, never seen such a delayed flag
Joke.
i dont care whether it was or wasnt offside, you cant take that long to put your flag up. If he was so sure it wouldve gone straight up. Joke decision- 3

Has Tanner suddenly not become good enough? He has some limitations going forward, although not as big as some would make out. He was poor on Saturday, all-round. Good in all aspects last week at Millwall though, and good defensively v Preston but poor with the ball. So he’s had a right old mixed bag so far. He’s still a steady RB in my eyes.
I dont get the hate on Tanner.
I dont see him getting done defensively and yes, going forward hes limited, but lets face it hes had Cornick in front of him who offers sod all as a right winger! We didnt seem to worry too much about RB when Bailey Wright was playing there so i dont think Tanner is playing badly at all to be honest.
The team in general are poor. Lack of movement in midfield makes for a lot of the defences troubles for playing out as theyre looking at statues in midfield not showing for the ball.- 4

Is this the crap we have to listen to after losses? Wow…
Whys it crap? Max was lauded for his box command and distibution.
he flaps at most crosses ( as he did before concession of the corner for the first goal), and his distribution makes Matt Hill’s delivery down the line look like messi bending one in the top corner.
Hes not a top keeper whatsoever. Academy love-in is a joke. Just because a player is from the academy doesnt make them good enough! -

Can’t blame Max for the 2 goals conceded. He actually made 2 goal-stopping saves today. It’s not that he’s the weakest link, more that we don’t have a viable Championship level keeper if anything happened to him.
So he did his job then!
He cant master the other part of commanding his area or keeping the ball on the pitch when kicking though!
-
Takes crosses better than our Max though!

Correct.

… to get:
Goalkeeper - MOL is a liability. Gets an easy ride as he came through the youth team. In reality he is not good enough to start championship football week in week out. Distribution is shocking, put us in trouble a number of times today. A myth that be commands his box. We need an upgrade asap
Scott replacement - We all knew he would leave for big money. Plans for his replacement surely must have been under discussion months ago. Knight was not Scott’s replacement. If anything he was HNM. We cannot create anything and have three identical midfielders starting.
Striker - Bell is not a striker as shown today. Wells is three years past being anywhere near the standard needed. An option off the bench but should not be starting. Conway’s injury was bad luck but he will be out for a while.
We have a squad barely capable of competing. Pinching 1-0 wins here and there will cover over cracks, not fix them.
If paying fees are out the question then NP needs to swallow his pride and look at the loan market for quality.
THIS!!!! Couldnt have written it better myself.
Obviously we wont replace Scott as hes the best ive ever seen in a city shirt, but there just MUST be an alternative to our ageing, slow and ponderous midfield.
I’m not even sure i’d play Bell as hes like a small child on the field and gets outmuscled every time he takes a man on.
Fed up of the love in of academy graduates. Max is not good enough for us and regardless of the nice storyline of being in the team, we need an alternative.- 4

I must admit after a full pre season and games last year, I thought that Mehmeti would be a real threat this season. But he looks to me like a league 1 player still. Very disappointing.
Agreed. A spot of the early Scott Murray days of running into areas he cant possibly get crosses from. But he turned out ok so lets see!
I always wanted us to try to buy Dembele. My god thats how a winger should play. Pace, trickery and scared Tanner to death.
-

I agree completely. Bell has a good burst of pace but he lacks anything else, the front 6 are so non threatening, where is this pace that Nigel keeps referring to? And don’t get me started on Pring and Tanner, neither deserve to play at present, Tanner in particular. So poor, they don’t even move! We’ve got big problems and League One and the academy can’t be the only solutions. I’ve said before, Tinnion signed Grant Smith, Matt Heywood et al, let’s be serious.
Lets hope McCrorie is a powerful lump when fit. We miss strength, power AND pace. Mehmeti has zero pace also.
We couldnt play any slower if we tried and must be so easy to scout and set up against for other teams.
Desperately need a couple of big powerful lumps in midfield and upfront as a minimum.
If we cant reinvest even £5m of the £25m Scott fee then League One here we come.- 1
