This was a 0-0 game all day long. Weve gifted them a goal now so lets see how Nige can generate some urgency into our play.

For all the Cornick criticism, I think he’s been a nuisance.

nevermind....
Great finish from Miyoshi but we gave away that corner pointlessly.
Well, now we find out how we handle going behind. From O’Leary’s inability to connect with balls into the box yes. League One goalkeeper im afraid. And to think people think hes better than Bentley!

New goalkeeper please. Ruddy taking everything. Oleary couldnt catch a cold in covid times.

Hopefully its not something cringey then that the Brum fans are gonna laugh at.

Looks a tad harsh. Keef isnt giving that against Millwall on saturday thats for sure.

I'm pretty MEH about all this now
The last player to leave I was really gutted about was coming back from Glastonbury to hear Scott Murray had signed for Reading
Well this is good as he didnt stay long and came back……!!

BBC saying his knee is worse than thought from the medical, so perhaps we sold him because he might be unavailable for a few months anyway?!

GK. ACM. Striker.

I don’t want to see players shoehorned in out of position but it is a possibility. You could make an argument that Conway’s injury or Scott’s apparent departure could be plugged by Bell going to the centre or Mehmeti going to attacking midfield, which potentially creates a spot on the left wing which Pring could theoretically play…
Wouldnt mind seeing both on the left tbh!

Tbf ive slated all this kit. Bought my boy the yellow for his birthday. Its actually not bad. Random ‘pad shapes’ sewn into the socks which look a bit odd mind.
The worst is obviously the splat robin and he wore it today and got asked what team it was, so clearly thats an own goal as its unrecogniseable.
The worst though is stock levels. Online is horrific to actually buy a full kit of any sort. Ive had to buy 3 different ages for the home gk kit just to have something for him, and hoping some stock comes back in so we can alter it all to correct sizings. -
Come on, we all know the raffle winner Cornick will be upfront now! .

Anyone else hoping this AS swollen knee rules him out until Sept 2nd…..?!

While I'm at it, was stoppage time too low?
I thought so..under the new rules the Weimann injury, the substitutions plus the varied Preston time wasting I dunno if there was enough.
Preston time wasting? We were lucky Max’s horrendous time wasting didnt add on more time for Preston to grab a winner!!

On a different point, how strict is the stewarding on getting into S82 these days? I sit in S23 and just before kick off three teenage girls came up and sat by me. Soon they were on their phones and waving to mates in S82.
Then they left and were next seen walking up the steps to S82 to be with friends when they obviously shouldnt have.
Obviously all in dolman stopping us getting to our seats!

Find it a little odd he would be there. Also odd hes signed for nobody.
Perhaps our £200 p/wk offer is still interesting him. -

As we are all having a good moan, two things. The atmosphere was surprisingly flat even early doors. Secondly why did the clock not keep going on the scoreboard? Stopped at the usual 45/90. As for the screens, one was faulty and both were taken up by the score and advertising so don’t see the point in the game being shown while playing.
Awww I’ve missed having a good moan.
The club obviously didnt get the EFL memo to carry it on. Laughable.

Walking back to Long Ashton Park and ride, Kalas was walking behind us with his girlfriend.
He was at the game, so who knows what will happen next week?
Really??

Okay, may be having a moan over a minor thing but seriously whoever is managing stock at the ground needs a fat steel toe-capped boot up their backside. Kiosks in the south stand running out of pies and pasties at half time!
Wtf!!
Though we then did have a fairly tasty burger from the van by the thatchers bar, at £22 for 2 burgers we won’t be buying there often.
Well, dolman kiosk ran out at 2.30 of certain items. Perhaps they should try selling club merchandise behind the kiosks so theres actually something to buy.

Worked perfectly for me ( shock!). However, the endless boredom of queuing to get up the dolman steps while your ticket is checked AGAIN is soul destroying. Then at H/T they cant be arsed to do it.

Is it just me but the following:
Sam Bell’s pace.
O’Leary commanding his box and distribution.
Neither of these are actually true!
Bell couldnt beat an egg let alone a full back.
O’Leary doesnt command his box and no way can he distribute a ball effectively.
Apparently we have pace in the team. Im aftaid the only player we have with pace is Sykes, yet he cant get a game ahead of the raffle winner Cornick!
absolutely baffled.
