For all Ipswich pressure no real threat to Fielding
Now you've gone and done it!

Dont worry. Ipswich next and theyre really bad.........
-
Frankie-decent saves.
Lucic - ok. Kicking iffy.
Matthews - not bad.
Flint n Maggs - decent.
Smith - where has Korey gone?! Scared of the ball, lazy, backwards passing only. What a shadow of what he once was.
Pack - few misplaced passes but pinged it around nicely.
Reid - few nice touches, misses a sitter again.
Freeman - anonymous.
Bryan - oh dear. Premier league left back says LJ? So lazy, no passion. Wouldnt be near the squad for me.
Golbourne - standard bog average.
Tammy - hat-trick somehow given up!!
shocking performance. Four different formations. No wonder the players look confused.
LJ needs to work out a starting and finishing formation and pick a team who wants to be out there!!
more of the same Saturday otherwise.

Anyone else watching McGoldrick today thinking he'd be a decent foil for Tammy?
Strong, quick (ish), good feet. Looked as good as he could with such poor service.
Funny isnt it. I was talking about him 2nd half saying hes everything i'd NOT want us to sign!!
lots of ball, ran around a bit, did bugger all with it!!
had one season maybe two years ago where he maybe got 15 goals. Its a no from me!!

Frustrating defeat again but i noticed as soon as we went 2 down we started moving forward with purpose. Bryan looked completely out of place today and was chasing the ball often. Cant fault the second half effort the players gave but again too late in the game to start competing.
We had enough chances but we look scared to shoot at times. We caused them enough trouble, especially going two up top with wilbs who i though was a great impact sub. If tammy had his shooting boots we would have got something from the game but he fluffed two really good opportunities.
Reading are third so not a bad second half performance (despite being end to end in spells) would love to have that McCleary in our team he ripped through our defence on several occasions.
Lastly.........who was the ****** in the shorts?
Wasnt there today. I assume the shorts man was a Reading fan to the right as you look?
Noticed him every time ive been to that ground. Proper weirdo!!!

Difference between us and the top teams is our massive lack of movement. Everyone stood still making passes impossible. Brighton are sharp, moving well and passing for fun.
Little. Bryan.

No width today with this formation!!! Hopefully with Tammy less isolated though we will still get 2 or 3!
-
Poor performance. Poor referee. Onto the next game i guess.
-
Just one note. The atmosphere around the two goals was immense!! Looking forward to losing my voice once more!!

Hard game for us, neither team got in full flow, we really cancelled each other out, our goal came from a mistake from a Leeds defender.
COYR!!
It certainly did not!!
brilliant harrying and a tackle from Pack. Great run and perfectly timed Tomlin pass for Pack to finish expertly.
Well deserved goal.

And all this time we've been worried about Sheff Utd, turns out it was Sheff Wed we needed to worry about!!

Erm, isnt O'Donnell a Sheff Wed fan.................

Seriously. Why? The guy just narrowly missed a pen. At the point he hit that post we were still 2-1 up against 10 men.
I could understand some flack if he'd completely skied it or tried a cheeky Zidane and been caught out, but as missed pens go, it was as good as they get.
2-1 up v ten men............for about 5 seconds!
-
Tomlin scores the pen its game over. End of. Shocking goals but would never had happened if a man on £30k a week could score from just 12 yards.

Agree. Big improvement needed in the second half.
You see. I could be a manager!!

Too soft. Too nice. Standing off and letting Villa dictate the pace of the game.
Lightweight midfield. Zero movement. Big half time talk from LJ to change the state of this one.
Far far too easy for Villa. Playing it like a practice match.

Arrogant bunch!!!
What, like it was a walk in the park when they lost to Luton recently!! Im getting fed up of these big timers!! Theyve been terrible for 4 seasons now and shouldve been relegated way before last season from the Prem.
Comments like these really gives me hope to stuff them!!

Must be carrying a knock or have an illness? I would have thought he was more versatile as a bench option than Little.
Cheltenham races naughtiness catching up with him perhaps??

A well balanced side although I probably would have started Freeman considering Reids history at the gate.
Thats the polite way of saying Reid is sh1te!!

On the basis of tonight ?
Another knee jerker.
Did you want Colin as well ?
Definitely not. Knee jerk?! LJ playing bryan cm? Reid LW saturday. Tomlin LW? What did old man johnson use to say - round pegs round holes? Well Jnr is trying to fit squares in to rounds at the moment. I still think we'll stay up but this is because theres might just be worse teams. Not because we are deserving of it.

This is the main issue. Moaning about CB's not winning crosses is very lame when the full backs cant be arsed to close down and just let crosses be aimed into the box all the time.
WTF is this Holden bloke doing if hes our defensive coach!
