the guys that have to compile the fixture lists each season

I know the computer does most of the work but when the

computer has finished doing its work

These guys sit down and sift out all the requests objections

and DEMANDS from the POLICE and other interested partys

I have the e-mail address of these guys who said please

e-mail them if you have any requests

I hope the guys are still at the football league see below

for thier football league address and NOT thier personal address

I don't have any particular preference for any team to start or finish

and long distances during the december and january period

The fixtures usually come out on a Thursday in June. Will it be the 19th (3rd Thursday)?

As for imput; could we have long distance away trips (Yorkshire) on a Saturday and shorter journeys (Cardiff & Soton) in mid week please?

Missed the main one there, SKY get to pick their "grand slam sundays" before anybody else to maximize profits at xmas and easter then the others get a say!

22A your a man

Not the best thing to have a long distance trip to preston/blackpool/burnley in dec/jan/feb and have the game called off

when your nearly there

I'm a bloke.

A caller on 606 once suggested all clubs should have their longest journeys at the start & end of the season with local derbies in mid winter.

August Bank Holiday afternoon fixtures. Because of the baloon festival with all the massive security requirements of that City usually hve to be away. A few years ago we were meant to be at Colchester, but due to a pop festival, Essex Constab moved the game to the Tuesday night as they did not have enough manpower for both events. That drastically reduced the number of City supporters attending. Colchester should have sued their local Police for "loss of potential income" as it's not the clubs fault the Police can't cope.
