Percy Parrot
My two favourites would be O Fortuna from Carmina Burana http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=xuERh0jBjh8 (initial intro just before players come out, a shortened quiet bit playing under DaveL saying "please welcome on to the pitch the opposition and BRISTOL CITY!) and then the loud bit coming in again (1 min 36 on attached clip) OR http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5cgsncCv4XI&...feature=related (without the prologue)

Bristoliain
Would love pendulam to return! But i really like the dragons den music(dunno what its called) when they walk out! Its kind of intimidating! which is what we all want the gate to be!! Not sure about pendulam, as the sides walk ou you could have either the openings to, Kashmir- Led Zeppelin or Wake Up- Rage Against the Machine. They would have the "menacing" factor
BristolCity1992
I meant the DJ Tiesto version That classic will never forget him dropping that at Creamfields after seeing him at Global as well two good sets he did very different which I wasnt expecting. Do not know if it would go with the football though.

red23
Good Morning, As a DJ myself, I always play Dario G "Carnival" at the end of the night, this gets everybody up dancing, singing, bantering ect..... I feel this would be good for our entrance, turn up the volume a little and it will get everyone on feet and even the players would like to hear. It's 110% crowd pleaser. Regards, Dan Spot on mate...its a true football song and everytime i hear it it reminds me of all the pre game emotions at Wembley as it was played just before KO. It was played just before KO at AG for the first 2 home games of the season...but not at Brum...BRING IT BACK!!
sirscrumpton
What about Jean Michel Jarre Industrial Revolution part 2 which was used when the players wlaked out at the 2007 Rugby World Cup? Ignore the Star Wars bit obviously, it's the music i mean. Though it only really kicks in at 1:23. On the other side the music from The Last of the Mohicans is pretty kick ass. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SoeDAPj6gg Used to good effect in this advert. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GX_5tzwVz3I

Jordan Tansley
did we have the apprentice music today? i actually cant remember also well done mr DJ for reintroducing pendulum, the sad part of that was there was hardly anybody in the stadium to hear it! i was there really early today and i thought the stuff played at the beggining was really good, i was singing along at the back of the dolman looking rather daft
Guest Eamer
Yep, apprentice again today. I think it might be time for EVERYONE to email DL. If everyone emails him with the same title it might get someone to notice. How about: "CHANGE THE ENTRANCE MUSIC" Seems like a decent enough title to me. Straight to the point. The Apprentice music is right for what is happening as it is played, a serious long walk over to the dugouts to do the handshakes. Until we change that (and it can't be) then it has to stay. it's not the music that is wrong its the walk.
Nibbler
Yep, apprentice again today. I think it might be time for EVERYONE to email DL. I'm confused! Ok, I don't watch the Apprentice but I thought, from reading through this thread, that 'the Apprentice' refers to the music from Prokofiev's ballet. I'm sure the team came out in the first half to the William Tell overture? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkymTHSbWe0

It wasn't as loud as usual but it was there without a doubt.

It wasn't as loud as usual but it was there without a doubt. Right that explains it. I couldn't hear it. Maybe it's even quieter in the Atyeo. But I agree the Prokofiev music has been used by other clubs, I don't see what's wrong with The Wurzels, it's our song after all. Failing that, something Wagnerian - not the ride of the Valkyrie! - might set the right atmosphere. Like Woody Alllen says - "I can't listen to that much Wagner. I start getting the urge to conquer Poland. "
