City Petition

To counteract the Sags online petition against our proposed new stadium, some city fans have set up an online petition.

Please take 30 seconds out of your day and sign it.

(Mods - any chance of pinning this?)

I've been away so i've missed our bitter, twisted and extremely jealous pikey neighbours futile attempts to scupper our stadium plans.

I for one am not worried though, as there is nowhere near enough of them for any petition to be taken seriously!

Keep em coming people...

With the planning application expected to be submitted in early March this is a great way to show BCC, the planners and councillors that there is a lot of support for this scheme. The petition ends in February and then feedback to the petition is given by BCC.

You can view the live petition 'leaderboard' here: http://epetitions.bristol.gov.uk/activepetitions.php

We're currently on 94 signatures and the wildlife/gas one is on 190+.

I think second spot (with 500+ signatures) is achievable!

Let all family and friends, football fans know...

I've got no problems pinning it, but I think the thread attracts more attention by being 'bumped' around like it is at the moment. When it plunges out of sight I, or one of us can pin it maybe?

I'd agree with that, good plan.

Anyone stuck it on the gas forum? Afterall this is about bringing the World Cup to Bristol. :englandsmile4wf:

Some of the more sensible ones may be interested in signing it.

hmmmmm...

Personally I think it would get right up there noses and galvanise their opposition to it.

Just think how you would feel if they posted a petition on here urging the council to accept planning for redevelopment of the Minimal(well not you but you know what I mean).
