samo Posted August 15, 2009 Report Share Posted August 15, 2009 Nice one boys. Sounds like we rode our luck today, but that makes me feel a lot better about the pen at Preston! God bless Nicky Maynard; this could very well be his season. Today can be taken as evidence that we needed at least one more attacking option, as with Clarkson coming off we lacked another option, although nice to hear Sproule got involved, despite doubts (although those present will know if his contribution was any good). The lad from Rangers, plus Haynes coming back is needed. Nice to also see Akinde is considered worthy of a shot if other options are unavailable, and it 'sounded' (might not have been the case in the flesh) that 'Big John' did okay. Bring on QPR!
