What a joke.....

Sky Sports today....

Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan will not face further action from the FA following his reaction to the 'goal that never was' against Bristol City.

Jordan had been asked to explain himself after reacting angrily when Palace were denied a perfectly valid goal during the Championship clash at Ashton Gate in early August.

Striker Freddie Sears celebrated after finding the back of the net, only to find the goal disallowed when the ball bounced back out onto the pitch.

Referee Rob Shoebridge consulted with the linesman, only to award a goal kick to Bristol City.

After the game, Palace manager Neil Warnock was also seething with the decision.

"We can put a man on the moon, time serves of 100 miles per hour at Wimbledon, yet we cannot place a couple of sensors in a net to show when a goal has been scored," he said.

"We were cheated. And I'm not saying that against the referee because he didn't mean to get it wrong."
