22A Posted December 13, 2009 Report Share Posted December 13, 2009 Saturday lunchtime / early afternoon I was looking at the various Sky Sports channels and a few thoughts occurred(!). 1. Stoke v Wigan; if City reach the Prem then unless a major investor steps forward as at Chelsea, we can only expect to match the likes of Stoke, Wigan, Burnley and Hull. 2. At the same time Motherwell were playing Celtic. Like many others on this forum I do not consider the quality of Scottish football to match that of England. That SPL game was far better to watch than the Stoke match. 3. Over on Sky Sports News, the studio panel were discussing Liverpool. For the last 40 odd years 'pool have won both domestic & Euro trophies. A few years ago, the club was still going strong and a team of money men took over the club. Many people thought great, now we have the team and the money. But that has not worked out. Liverpool are now paying £36,000,000 just to service the debt they have now incurred.
