Seems like he's made quite an impression over our two games against them this season.....

The whole thread is an interesting read. Its not often you see opposition fans cooing so much about one of our players, very flattering.

Hartly did have a cracking game alongside Skuse on Saturday and that combination would appear to be the first choice in a 4-4-2. That said the pundits will tell us that a player can only play as well as his is allowed to play and to be honest Preston were all over the place and didn't get into Hartley's face much at all. He was allowed time and space to do what he wanted far to often. That was a big mistake from Preston which Hartly took full advantage of.

They shoud have remembered what a big impact he had at Deepdale and how they got back into the match only after Hartly was subbed.

There are some other interesting threads on there too. They seem to be concerned that Ferguson concentrates too much on his own team's attacking side and ignores ProZone. Which is pretty much the opposite of what Johnson has been coming under fire for on here.

Also one of them thinks they lost to the pirates at the weekend. Wonder what game he was at.

That said a good player always creates space for himself

A few did comment on that thread about his influence on the opening day of the season too.
