With McCombe out of favour / injured and the youngsters loaned away, does that mean City's rearguard of McAllister, Nyatanga, Carey, Fontaine and Orr have to play in every fixture if we continue with wingbacks? Should Gary have bolstered our defence in the transfer window? Or does the lack of activity in this area mean that the Gaffer is satifisfied with his defence? Robbored Posted February 1, 2010 Report Share Posted February 1, 2010 Johnson is obviously happy with the defenders he has otherwise he would have strengthened during the Jan window. Personally I think the defence is lacking and does need a new face or two - if only to improve competition. And yep - it does look as if the defence picks its self - any 4 from 5.
