simon uk
whilst the striker situation this year is rediculous, how does that 91 figure compare to other teams who have won promotion over the same time period? People saying about Stewart and Jevons ought to look at where they are now, Jevons did the job for us, but Stewart was terrible, and so was Bridges. Also, is someone really listing 3 top strikers that GJ has brought in but not included maynard? Also, it is clear a lot of those players were brought by previous managers, and were moved out pretty quickly when they were deemed not good enough, people like Jamie Smith for example! I will quite happily agree with the number of strikers tried this year being over the top, but this 91 player thing is outside of GJs control, and in theory our squad is far stronger now than it has been in gawd knows how long. Now if they could just start playing like it and GJ would put the right player in the right position we wouldnt have the problems we have.

Nicky Maynard cost us over £2 million, two great strikes against Middlesbrough at the Gate this season but not much else for ages. The last player to score a goal in the last 6 games was Clarkson. GrahamC
The figures and names are wrong for a start, just in the keepers Burch was here under Tinnion and W Brown? that sounds like the Osman era to me.........

For starters, we'll have Chris Weale from the list of 91 against us tomorrow evening. No doubt he'll have told his manager all our strengths and weaknesses. Sorry that should have been Scott Brown who is now no 1 at Cheltenham, Burch was initially signed on loan from Tottenham by Tinnion but his loan was extednded under Gary Johnson into a 2nd month.
