Obviously the "big name" players are a no no but some that have championship experience may be worth a look. Webber and Smith spring to mind. Any thoughts??? Players will only agree to a move if their wages are matched by the buyer, which will prevent most championship clubs taking them even for a nominal fee, except of course the big c;lubs enjoying parachute payments. redcityman Posted March 24, 2010 Report Share Posted March 24, 2010 I believe you can only buy from Pompey providing they are loaned back to pompey for the rest of the season, can't see anyone buying knowing that they could be free in the summer If pompey were to go under, also what if said players were to get a long term injury!
