Who Will Join Gj At Peterborough?

Who Shot JR?

Recommended Posts

not wanting to bite but off the top of my head:

Danny Simpson Yep.

Chris Gunter Maybe.

Adam Matthews Agreed.

Nathaniel Clyne No!

Kevin McNaughton No! though not a bad player

?

Orr is not only a great player for us (albeit poor going forward at times,) but is also without doubt the most passionate player at the club at present.

It wasn't so long ago he was in the championship team of the year, voted for by FELLOWS PROS. Perhaps better judges than people on here?!

LJ? I have heard that he wants out of City. However, he knows that if he were to go to P'borough, he'd be plagued by nepotism comments, so I think not. Derby a good shout though.

McCombe? I'm not sure just how well he got on with GJ. Will do a job in League 1 (as he did for us). Possibility.

Orr? No way IMO. If rumours are to be believed, he was one of (if not directly involved) with the fracas at Plymouth. He'll sit tight at City - why bother going down a division?

McAllister? Same as Orr. GJ shown a lot of faith in Macca but I very much doubt he'll want to go back to League 1.

Wilson? Possible contender. Utility player here, however he must be looking for a regular first team spot?

Sproule? You're avin' a bubble. NO WAY. I'm sure he'd rather swallow razor blades than work with GJ again.

Trundle? See Sproule.

Carey? Allegedly part of the Plymouth coup. Rumours suggest he respects GJ but doesn't like him. Was at loggerheads with GJ over team selections this season. You never know however; seeing as though he is coming to the end of his career... League 1 might be appealing.

Williams? Good midfielder at League 1 level. Possibility.

I think you kinda missed my piont, This is a list of the dross we dont need, so JOHNSON can bloody ave um,

PLZ COME and take um , save on the wages,

And people who think ORR is anygood need to go and see a specialist, he his total garbage.

Nice of you to miss out his loan spell at Derby where he was well received and indeed wanted for the rest of the season.

You are correct Tom but it doesnt really change the general thrust of the point being made. Derby were desperate to begin with due to injuries. After getting Tonge in from Stoke, I would think they saw Johnson as cover, nothing more; also wonder what exactly they were proposing in terms of how much of his wages they were willing to pay.

Johnson hasnt played many minutes since Millen took over, it will be interesting to see where he goes from here. I personally cant see him featuring in a new managers plans, but think he has a year left on his contract? Johnson to his credit clearly loves being on the pitch, I cant see him wanting to linger on the subs bench at best most of next season, but the alternative would almost certainly be a drop down a division and reduced wages.

I got your point; I was just having a bit of fun. ;)

No need for Wee Johnson to leave, now his old mans not here picking him for every game and putting him under to much pressure by doing so. The lad now knows he has to earn is place proper. I for one would like to see that he is given that chance.

Why would anyone want to see an average at best League 1 player be given a chance to prove yet again that he is not good enough for the Championship ?

Lee Johnson will leave Bristol City in my opinion but I reckon to join Derby.

McCombe and Brian Wilson would be best suited to Posh under Johnson.
