Now that City are at home on Wednesday I wonder if Wilson will continue with Woodman on the left hand side.Woodman is not very attack minded and is more of a specialist full back than anything else.It made sense to play him at H'pool but I'm not so sure now with the home advantage being with City.

Wilson could play Rougier on the left ahead of G'fellow (who can't defend) with Murray on the right. Two wide men would surely be a tough formation for H'pool to handle and would force them onto the back foot.

QPR scored 8 against H'pool in the two league games and at least 5 of the goals came from crosses, as did City's goal up there- maybe thats an indication that crosses are their weak point.

Tinnion and Docherty in central midfield and you have two players who can find a pass and with pace and trickery on both wings Hartlepool could struggle.

I doubt he will play him, if I was manager I wouldn't!!! That's not to say that he had a bad game on Sat but I think that it would be better to have a more attacking side. I think he'll have Murray on the right and Rougier on the left. Although they aren't particualy defending players they wokr their arses off so that should be ok! :D

Certainly wouldn't play him as left midfield. It was the right selection for the away game because we needed to shut up shop. But now we are at home we need to win, and as we've struggled to score goals we need as much help as we can get. I'd go with Rougier on the left and Murray on the right.
