Mr Roper Posted May 30, 2010 Report Share Posted May 30, 2010 Not really totally related to Bristol City but a connection in that Phil Walsh(son of Alan) ex Bath City and Dorchester is on the Bench at Wembley for Dagenham today in his first season as a Pro ,all the best to him ,hope he gets some time on the pitch. 22A Posted May 30, 2010 Report Share Posted May 30, 2010 Yep, he did get on the pitch late in the game. Any other City players have sons who became pro footballers? Did Drysdale junior join Swindon? Trevor Tainton's son made it as a rugby player and in one game v Leicester scored a record number of points for one player. City had Joe Jordan's son on the books, but he didn't cut it here and moved to Hartlepool and for one season we had John Toshack's son, but he wasn't good enough, so we got shot of him.
