QuedgeRed
Was it just me, or did Marlon Jackson look really sharp when he came on yesterday? I thought he looked a yard quicker than anyone else on the pitch.
bcfcnick
He does look sharp. From his loan appearances elsewhere in the lower leagues his goal scoring record for a striker is very poor but he does look to have something about him and could come good. View from the Dolman
Yep - was impressed too. Looked eager and confident.
Ben4BCFC
Wasn't able to make the game, but at Yeovil he definitely looked a yard quicker than most and knew where the goal was. Got a bit lucky with his finish as the keeper should've done better, but he looked positive and played aggressive, attacking football. A concept good to see with the likes of Maynard and Haynes out for a while.

kiwicolin
We thought Marlon was released by city but has Steve Coppell asked him to stay ?
Claverham_Red
Whilst he did look 'sharp' I still think he's a long, long way away from the first team squad - even with the injuries City have at the moment. A loan move hopefully to a League 1 club this year should be on the cards - Yeovil or Exeter possibly - to give him valuable experience.
QuedgeRed
Ha love your picture, great work Not my work I'm afraid. Got it from a Newcastle forum. They hate the little gobsh1te just as much as we do from when he was at Sunderland.
no1cityfan_tucks
Marlon should defiantly be in and around the first team squad. Iv been well impressed with the way he has progressed. Certainly feel he could do a job
Will Rollason
I thought all the young un's ( and Gav) made a difference second half, woke the place up a bit.
Simon79
Ive seen Marlon twice this pre season and he has impressed me quite a lot. I would have him in and around the 1st team squad, he has a good touch, pace and is strong. From what i have seen, he would be ahead of Akinde IMO. James
He does look sharp. From his loan appearances elsewhere in the lower leagues his goal scoring record for a striker is very poor but he does look to have something about him and could come good. He is played prodominantly as a winger which explains his low scoring ratio. I also think he has looked good this pre-season.
I BELIEVE
I thought all the young un's ( and Gav) made a difference second half, woke the place up a bit. I actually thought the 1st half as 3 times as good as the 2nd but hey ho.

TinnionForEngland
My dad use to coach Marlon at Fishponds Youth FC, genuine lad who's lived the right lifestyle and continues to do so to get where he wants to be, so i hope he makes it for us, and agree that he did look good yesterday.
