chipdawg
Sky Sports are crediting us with an interest in Marcus Tudgay from Sheff Wed http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12876_6291341,00.html Never rated him that much to be honest and happened to be chatting to a Wednesday fan about him on Friday night who said he's had one good season, got a sports car and a big ego and been useless since. Would he be a good foil for Maynard?
Jordan Tansley
I always liked the look of him, He's got a big frame, but is no slouch either. He does seem to get his fair share of goals, in what was a particularly poor side. depending on price, i'd say he'd be a good "club in the bag" to have

Would he be a good foil for Maynard? Not in my opinion. Of the names linked with us lately I prefer the idea of either kitson/Beattie or heskey. Would he be a good foil for Maynard? had a flying start to last season if i remember rightly? As the above poster stated wouldn't be bad backup for Maynard/Haynes/Clarkson et al but wont be bothered in the slightest if this turns out not to be true.. Ron
Better than average Championship striker, wouldn't mind him here to complement what we've got already.
bristoljames
Seems a genuine chase. Tudgay was in a poor Sheffield Wednesday side which got relegated. He scored his fair share of goals, and wouldn't mind seeing him in a red and white shirt. Though I feel Kitson (however good links with Coppell) would be a step to high, unless it was a 6 month loan. Ryan_BCFC
He would be a good signing IMO if the price is right can score goals at this level.
cummins17
One of my mates happens to be a Wednesday fan, and when they got relegated last season, i was winding him up by saying "we will have Grant and Tudgay from your lot", he then said to me to keep our hands off Grant but that we are welcome to Tudgay as they dont rate him at all and apparently he bottles thr big occasion. So seriousally if we are making a push for promotion i dont want a striker who is going to bottle it when it comes to the run in!
mozo
I know plenty of Wednesday fans and and they know full well that he's their only classy player. If he played in a better team he could be ok
