Just back from 'Scunny' and felt the need to give Albert a special mention. When he signed many of us thought he would be a squad player this season and yet he has played every game and been arguably (PROBABLY!) our best player.

Caused them problems constantly when on the pitch, with a particularly good run and link up play with Pitman for his goal. He was also getting back well and helping out the defense including some great blocks. Heres hoping his injury's not too bad and he'll be OK for the Watford game. Keep it up Alb!

And on a side note, Stead and Pitman looked decent up top and generally had a good understanding of each other, and Stead absolutely ran himself into the ground!

i think the injuries this season have been a blessing in disguise as far as albert is concerned.

probably wasnt the plan to throw him in the starting 11 but he was the only one to come out of the millwall game with any credit and appears to have taken it on from there.

maybe the one good thing to come from coppells breif stint in charge.

I wasn't at the game today but against Millwall and Barnsley he reminded me of Kevin Amankwah, pace to burn but zero end product.

Where were you during his goal, getting a pie?

Oh yeah i forgot about his goal!

Frustrating to watch him run into spaces, then not being able to pick a pass. But thinking about it, that's probably a tactical error on Millen's part. It's not Albert's fault if his team mates have crap off the ball movement/awareness and can't keep up with him.

It seems like they were more knocks than anything rather than strains, so he must have a good chance of playing on Tuesday.

In his Radio Bristol interview after the game he said he could hardly move.................... but hoped to play on Tuesday.

Good attitude, plus an unusual, modest, and light hearted way of speaking which makes for an entertaining interview as well.

Seems completely down to earth and pleased to be at BCFC.

Early days but a really impressive start and looks like City may well have struck gold with Albert.

Totally agree, I think he's great.

I entirely agree that Albert was our standout attacking player yesterday. Playing alongside three more defensive midfielders meant the onus was really on him to make something happen going forward, and he did it exceptionally well.

Early days, but if he carries on like that he'll be a great signing.

To the tune Copacabana- Barry Manilow. His name is Albert Albert Adomah and he plays out on the right.............................. that's all I could think of so far.
