Spot on. More of a hindrance to be honest, because it gives ammunition to petty minded anti-Welsh fanatics looking for something to bash Cardiff City with. The FAW and the FA are fundementally administrative bodies both answerable to the laws of football and to Fifa. They shift paper around more than anything else, and I don't think it really matters 99.9% of the time whether it's the FAW or th FA doing it, except the FA are probably more professional in their outlook. You need to bear in mind things like the fact that there are no Welsh referees in the football league, no Welsh linesmen, officials, administrators. No Welsh media, few Welsh commentators. If people are going to harp on about rescinded red cards in 2008, at least have the good grace to acknowledge these issues that occur on a weekly basis. Of course, it doesn't matter anyway really. Anyone with any sense knows the English/Welsh thing is mere banter, and the artificial national/regional rivalries do neither side any favours.
