The FAW are as much as a hinderance as they are a help, as for missiles being thrown then I remember plenty of examples.

Spot on. More of a hindrance to be honest, because it gives ammunition to petty minded anti-Welsh fanatics looking for something to bash Cardiff City with.

The FAW and the FA are fundementally administrative bodies both answerable to the laws of football and to Fifa. They shift paper around more than anything else, and I don't think it really matters 99.9% of the time whether it's the FAW or th FA doing it, except the FA are probably more professional in their outlook.

You need to bear in mind things like the fact that there are no Welsh referees in the football league, no Welsh linesmen, officials, administrators. No Welsh media, few Welsh commentators. If people are going to harp on about rescinded red cards in 2008, at least have the good grace to acknowledge these issues that occur on a weekly basis.

Of course, it doesn't matter anyway really. Anyone with any sense knows the English/Welsh thing is mere banter, and the artificial national/regional rivalries do neither side any favours.

The reason there aren't any Welsh referees, etc, etc, is because it is an English league so why don't you **** off out of it and go and play Wrexham, Rhyl, Llanelli and Swansea every other week?

"No Welsh media" is a hilarious comment, the BBC must employ at least twice as many pro rata to report on Welsh football than they do for any other region who play in the football league. Like everything else there (S4C, Welsh Assembly) it is a public sector job creation industry, which is why Wales has more civil servants per head of population than any other part of the UK..

Hope that's enough "banter" for your third world nation.......

Imbecile.

What I mean, is there is little Welsh input in the reporting of the Football League, so all too often, we have to suffer the views of too many little englanders.

I don't know how old you are, but Cardiff have been playing in the football league since probably before your grandad was born. I don't think you are in a position to tell anyone what league they should or should not be playing in.

Ahhh, I thought it was just "banter"?

This is a forum, and my view is that you're a foreign nation and your football team should play in their own country, not in mine.

My grandad was born before Cardiff played in the English league (1920) by the way, for all you care.

Really? Perhaps he was born around 1916 around the battle of the somme, when Fred Keenor, the Cardiff born player who lifted the cup for city in 1927 was fighting in world war one for this country, our country, and your country.

The Welsh/English stuff is, and should be banter. Offensive stuff about foreign nations, different leagues is not. It's actually quite offensive, and best left to Welsh nationalist extremists and small time ignorant little Englanders.

I don't mind a bit of banter. Indeed, I like it, but I'm not having any ignorant 'Welsh foreigner' crap from people. Too much blood has been spilt for our shared country for that attitude. It's actually a disgrace how some people treat the Welsh in the UK. I also don't tolerate people saying Cardiff city should get out a league we've contributed to since 1920 based on some Uefa jurisdiction made in Zurich in the 1990's that Wales should have it's own league.

Anyway, I've gone frightfully off topic here.

CBL Ive changed my mind. You and your friend RFG (Friday, like so many of your decent players both now and in the past was English. Maybe next time you lot will remember that when your singing your Pro German / Argentinian / Portuguese / whoever the latest team is to beat us/ songs and waiving said countries flags ) are really starting to grate with your holier than thou bull

Yes, Welsh blood was and continues no doubt, to be spilt in combat and we are ALL very grateful for that no question whatsoever. But to use that fact in a conversation surrounding CCFC / BCFC is poor.

For you to say that the only Welsh that are offensive to England are ''Welsh Nationalist Extremists'' is UTTER crap. And you know it.

On the other hand, do not tar those on this board that are cheesed off with the way your club has and continues to behave under Ridsdale, Hammam, and the current regime as ''Little Englanders''.

I've lived in Wales and I have no more or less respect for your average Welshman than I would anyone from England. You don't see any vitriol on this site towards your friends in the West now do you? Hell we can even go there without an escort, such is the perceived lack of bitterness between us.

But I and countless others have NO respect for your club and the way it is run.

So take your pathetic accusations, take the bag of spuds off your shoulder and enjoy your undoubted rise to the Prem.

Your lot are now in a lose lose situation as far as I can see it. If (as I expect you will) you go up you will get your off season of the limelight but you'll get mullered every week with EVERY team looking to get one over on you. If you dont go up you'll be the laughing stock of all football lovers in England AND Wales. Whatever happens you will get your comeuppance eventually........ And hopefully you'll then spiral back to League 2....................

But do not try to hind behind some anti Welsh agenda when trying to defend the actions of CCFC as its simply not there. Its purely anti CCFC...............

The clue is in the name, it's the English Football League, get them out of it!!!!!!!!!!! Simples!

I think it's called the Football League actually, and for 100+ years has been open to teams from England and Wales.

And I stand by everything else I wrote. Calling a Welsh person in Britain a foreigner is disgusting.

Lenred, no one is more critical of Cardiff city's former owners than Cardiff City fans themselves

Over and out.

But it is factually correct, my foreign chum........

Rendered unconscious? I don't think so.

Bottles of piss? Who knows. Theres tossers at every club, and I sincerely doubt that much has happened at Ninian Park in 100 odd years that didn't also happen at Ashton Gate.

No having bottles of urine and coins thrown at you does not happen all the time JUST EVERYTIME THAT I HAVE BEEN THERE!!!!!!!
